Listening to Fear

The days since the Chosen had been long a hard. Survival of the fittest. Most of the tribes had been left homeless, and in great need of food and clean water. Then they decided to have one person, someone who would lead them through every war, every challenge, every day. The whole city united, and voted for who they wanted to be the leader of their city. Ebony and Moz had been among the many candidates to take part, and strangely enough, Ebony won the honor. Amber and Bray were then banished from their home, never to set foot in the city again, and all because they disagreed with Ebony. Amber, who was pregnant at the time, collapsed in a barn, where Bray was left to once again, deliver his child. Outside, planes had been flying around all over the city, and men parachuting from them. The city was chaotic, not knowing what or who it was coming into their city from the sky. Turned out they were "the true bringers of power and chaos" and wanted the city for themselves. Amber had given birth to a beautiful baby by now, but then Bray realized she was having twins! So she then gave birth to a second child. But then the mysterious men from the sky, came and took Bray away, leaving Amber to stagger back to the city, with the help of her friends, Salene and Ryan, with new friend,
Zeke, who had found them, and helped through the entire thing. Back at the Mall, things were getting tense. Ebony was cracking up over her powers as city leader.
And it didn't take long for the tribe bringers of power and chaos, later known as the Techno's, to make themselves known. Danni and Patsy had then returned, after they were rescued from slavery as Techno's. Throughout the whole Techno thing, a few other new faces had made their way into the Mall, Dee, who is the new leader of the Mozzies, after Moz disappeared to the Techno's, and Jet, ex-leader of the Gulls, who joined the Mall Rats after her tribe was taken by the Techno's. Also, siblings, Latisha and Piper, joined the Mall Rats after the Techno's scared them away, and later were discovered to be Ebony's long lost sisters! They joined along with their young friend, Aaliyah, who was about six or seven years old. Then after that, the Techno's attacked the Mall, where Piper tried to get her best friend, Lacey to stay with them, but Lacey didn't. Then later on, Newcomer to the Techno's, Jason, announced he was to marry Lacey, against her will however, so Lacey, with the help of good friend, and loyal Techno follower, Rider, escaped to the Mall to be with her friends. Cloe was killed during the attack, after psychopath, Jay, a Techno, kidnapped Patsy and Latisha, along with Amber's children, Ella and Will, and went to Hope island, where the Chosen were holding out, where they met old friend Luke. They then escaped, along with Luke, and returned to the Mall, to discover the city was under attack, and that old nemesis, Zoot, was very much alive, and leader of the Techno's. Alice, meanwhile, had been working for Ebony, creating a powerful tribe. The Mall Rats thought she was dead, or that Ebony had had her imprisoned somewhere. But after the Mall was attacked for the second time, Alice returned, but her return was short lived after a Techno killed her. Rider had escaped from the Stadium, where the Techno's are based, after he was put in a pit for helping Lacey escape which infested with spiders and rats, and he tried to warn the Mall Rats of this attack, but it was too late.
During this attack, Salene was also killed, and many of the Mall Rats were taken prisoner, no one knew whether they were alive or dead. Danni had at this time, came victim to an unknown illness, causing her to have memory loss, and throw up a lot. Zoot has taken his daughter, Brady to be with him, along with its mother, Trudy. The Techno's left the Mall in two trucks', both of them full of prisoners, many of them Mall Rats, who were soon to be trained as loyal Techno followers

The Mall Rats took a while to get focused, along with the rest of the city. Many of them had been taken away by the Techno's, and two of them killed. Alice died saving Ellie, and Salene was killed, protecting Ryan from an on-coming Techno. The Techno's, as they were instructed, had taken several prisoners from the city, including a number of Mal Rats. These Mall Rats were; Ebony, Tai-San, Piper, Lacey, Pride, KC, Zeke, Patsy, May and Jet. Trudy and Brady were also gone, but not as prisoners, but as a family to Zoot, who wanted his daughter with him, and decided it best to have it's mother as well. The Mall was almost empty, with only a few of them left, who were; Amber, Lex, Ellie, Jack, Latisha, Luke, Danni, Ryan and Aaliyah. Rider was still in the Mall too, but he was not one of them. Danni was still very ill, and no one knew if she would make it or not. The Guardian, who had went back to his old name, Jaffa, was preparing the Chosen, along with Jay, to return to the city, where they were to meet with Jason and Zoot. So the city was a mess, especially the Mall rats, everyone had lost people they loved or cared for, but it was clear that this was simply the beginning of the Techno's reign of terror, and clearly not the end

"Tai-San!" Lex cried as he tore through every place in the Mall looking for his wife.
"They're all gone, all of them." Latisha added, staring into space.
"No! This happened before, the Chosen, remember, we managed to beat them, so we can beat these guys." Jack told them, trying to hold things together.
"What's the point, we've lost three friends to these people, and the rest are missing." Ellie replied, stirring dreamily into her mug of coffee.
"We have to get organized. There's a whole city out there feeling the way we do right now. The Techno's have took so many of our friends, and there isn't a lot of time left for us to organize some kind of revolt." Jack told them.
"Jack's right, you may all have lost someone in this battle, who you cared for very much, but we are all grieving inside, and if we want to see our friends back, we're gonna have to pull ourselves together, and fight!" Latisha told them, which got them slightly motivated, but not very.
"Salene is dead, and Alice, we didn't even give them a proper burial, and you two expect us to pick up where we left off, start a war after loosing so many friends?
If that's the case, then I'm afraid you're on your own." Lex told them.
"Look, there's no need for me to be here, so I'll go back to my tribe okay." Dee told them, smiling at Jack and Latisha sympathetically.
"See you later Dee." Jack said, as she left down the stairs to her tribe.
"I'm going to bed." Ellie told them, then sauntered to her room, Aaliyah running after her.
"Ellie, can I sleep with you please." She asked sweetly.
"Fine." Ellie said bluntly, and slid under the covers of her bed, with Aaliyah cuddling in beside her. Ellie looked at her face, and saw the innocence in her eyes. She then remembered how Alice had risked her life to save her, and she was killed in the process. Is this the way Alice would have wanted them to be? Ellie thought no, and realized, that first thing tomorrow morning, they had to get a grip on things; they had to get their friends back.

"Zoot, please, let me see my baby, she needs me." Trudy pleaded, wanting Brady with her.
"Shut it will you." Zoot sighed, as he was fed up with her moaning.
"Why are you doing this? She's my baby, she needs me." Trudy told him crying.
"No! She's my baby too, and I will have her for as long as I want her." Zoot snapped at her, making Trudy jump slightly.
"Well, you can, we both can, we could be the parents Brady never had, please Zoot,
I'm begging you." Trudy asked desperately.
"Bring the baby." Zoot sighed, and Jason went for the child. Trudy smiled slightly, then noticed Zoot looking at her mysteriously. "So, anyone special in your life since me?" He asked her.
"Only you." Trudy told him nervously.
"Tell me, did you ever love me, or did you use me to get at Bray?" Zoot asked her.
Trudy's heart thumped, she began to sweat, how was she supposed to answer him.
"I had our child Zoot, what do you think." Trudy replied.
"Good answer." Zoot smiled intrigued, as Jason brought Brady into the room.
"Brady!" Trudy cried in joy "Oh, my baby, come here." Trudy put her hands out, but
Zoot lifted her instead.
"Daddy first little girl." Zoot smiled, and played with her fingers.
Trudy looked on worried, Zoot was a mad man, and he may well still be, he didn't know how to look after a baby. What if he dropped her? Trudy was flooded with a million questions but she realized that with Zoot alive, she'd have to face up to him playing some part in her daughter's life.

"Guardian, the Invasion has been a success, the Techno's have control of the city, we can move in now." A Chosen guard informed him, as Jay and Guardian had been waiting anxiously.
"It's Jaffa now, the Guardian is no more, it's time for our return." The Guardian, or should we say, Jaffa, smiled at Jay, and the two plotted together what would happen next.
"The Techno's should expect us, they know we're here, and now that you're with us, that's even better." Jaffa smiled.
"What about Zoot?" Jay wondered.
"What about him? I will greet him, he will greet me, and we'll talk about each other's lives since my 'death'." Jaffa grinned.
"You mean, you know he's alive, and he knows about you?" Jay puzzled.
"You really think we would all be so sad as to worship some kid who didn't know his ear from his elbow?" Jaffa laughed.
"I'm afraid I don't quite understand?" Jay told him, trying to make sense of the riddles Jaffa was talking.
"The Chosen, we were nothing but a bunch of lost kids, who wanted something to believe in. Zoot was alive, and I was very much aware of that. The whole thing was a set up, we took Brady to win people over, they would worship Zoot through her, then when the Techno's, you guys, arrived, it would make it easier to get people to join them. But when we were over-powered, we had a huge change of plan. The people didn't believe in Zoot anymore, so when the Techno's eventually arrived, Zoot had to win the city by use of force, which lengthened the whole thing hugely.
But now it seems everything has went according to plan. Zoot is here, the Mall
Rats have gone, and the city is ours." Jaffa laughed. So it turned out that Jaffa knew Zoot was alive all along, and the Chosen was just part of one huge plan, all for just a little bit of power.

"Ebony!" Piper smiled as Ebony was thrown into the room in which herself and Lacey had been imprisoned. "Why have they put you in here?" Piper puzzles.
"Yeah, shouldn't you be with the Mall rats?" Lacey added.
"Don't ask me, all I know is that the Mall rats, they're safe for now, and Zoot wants the three of us together for some reason. That guy, Jason, he mentioned something about Zoot wanting me for him, and the Mall Rats as one of him Whatever that means." Ebony puzzled shaking her head.
"Jason?" Lacey panicked.
"What is it?" Ebony asked.
"Oh no, Jason, that's the guy that wanted to marry you, he's the one that you said is a total psychopath." Piper shook her head.
"What if he still wants to marry me, what if he does marry me, I'll be with him for the rest of my life!" Lacey cried.
"Look, you ran away, he won't wanna marry you, anyway, Zoot wouldn't allow it."
Piper assured her.
"You think?" Lacey wondered and bit her lower lip.
"I know." Piper smiled, and hugged her friend.
"At least they didn't get Latisha and Aaliyah." Ebony added. "And there are still some of the Mall Rats out there." Ebony told them
"Yeah, but how long do you think it will be before they are captured as well, and you really think that the prisoners they have here will be released just like that." Lacey told her.
"What are you saying?" Ebony enquired.
"Put it this way, these guys will do anything for power, you don't know them like we do. Once the prisoners have been won over, you can say goodbye to your freedom." Piper told her.

The night dragged on and on, it felt like it was never gonna end. The city was in chaos once again, as it had been during the time of the Loco's. Bray had worked so hard to keep the peace, the Mall Rats were top dogs for some time, but all that was ruined when the Chosen arrived. Then when they finally defeated the Chosen, they thought that by voting for a city leader, things would be okay again, but it wasn't. The arrival of the Techno's changed everything, no one was ready for them, they just fell from the sky, and raked havoc through the city. Then last night, things went from bad to worse. The Invasion began, which the Techno's had been waiting weeks to happen, and when it finally did, no one was ready, the whole city was taken by surprise. Most of the tribes lost their homes, and the unluckier ones even lost their leaders, and tribe members. The Mozzies were lucky, they had been hiding out at the time, and they still had their leader, Dee, and their home. The Jackals were not in the city at the time, but when they returned they found their home destroyed, but at least they still had each other. Tribe Circus were gone, the whole lot of them had been taken prisoner. The Roosters didn't loose any of their people, but their home was destroyed. The Demon Dogz lost some of their people, not a lot though, they still had their home however, and their leader, Drazic. The Amazons were gone too, they were a small tribe, and they were nothing compared to the twenty something Techno's who invaded them. Then there were the Mall Rats, who probably suffered the worst, okay, they still had their home, but it was in ruins. And their leaders, Bray, he was gone, Amber had a family to look after now, and Danni was dangerously ill in bed. Then the ones who were left, they couldn't cope, Ryan, he had lost Salene to them, and Ellie, she had lost Alice, after she just discovered she was alive. Jack had lost Dal to the Chosen, and Ellie didn't love him anymore, he was alone. Luke wasn't a Mall Rat, he just stayed with them, the only friend he had was Ellie, but even she was disowning him now. Aaliyah was just a kid, seven years old, she had no family, only Latisha, who was lucky enough not to be captured, but she lost her two sisters, Piper and
Ebony, who had been captured. Lex was an okay leader when he tried, but he didn't have the strength anymore, his first wife, Zandra, who was pregnant with their child, died in the explosion at Eagle Mountain, and now the Techno's had taken Tai-San from him. Amber only had her children, Ella and Will, as Bray had disappeared, and no one knew where he was, if he was dead or alive, none of them know. Then there was Rider, the ex-Techno who escaped from the Stadium to warn the Mall Rats of the attack, but he was too late, the Invasion had already begun.
The majority of the Mall Rats were either taken prisoner, or killed. In the beginning, the Mall Rats were a small tribe, always looking out for each other, scared to go into the city. Now there were hardly any of them left. Paul, Patsy's younger brother, had went missing after Lex kept bullying him. Sasha, a traveler, who Amber foolishly fell for, left them after a short stay in the Mall. Amber chose not to go with him, as her tribe needed her, and he hasn't been seen since. Then Zandra, who married Lex, was killed on Eagle Mountain when the observatory exploded, and to make things worse, she was pregnant at the time. No one ever found Zandra's body, maybe she wasn't dead, maybe she was trapped, or knocked unconscious, but we'll never really know. After that, the Chosen took Danni, Ryan, Patsy and Cloe from them, but they eventually returned. Dal was killed after he took his own life, so he didn't have to go back to the Chosen again. Then the
Guardian murdered Ned after helping him to escape. After that, Andy and Tally,
Ned's younger siblings fled the Mall when the Techno's arrived, as they were terribly frightened. The Techno's soon made themselves known, when they attacked the Mall, to get Piper, Latisha and Aaliyah back, who refused to return, and during this, Cloe was sadly killed. Also, Bray disappeared after delivering Amber's babies, when the Techno's attacked him, and no one really knows where his is, or if he will ever return.
Despite all these tragic losses, there have also been several new faces to join the Mall Rats. KC, a young tearaway, was allowed to stay in the Mall after he tried to steal from them. Tai-San, a wondering young girl, rescued Cloe from the Loco's, and wormed her way into the tribe, getting on everyone's nerve with her spiritual way of life. Then the mysterious Danni joined them to help with the antidote selling, and soon became Bray's girlfriend, but later was discovered to be the daughter of the man who created the virus!

Ellie and Alice, the farm girls, joined the Mall rats after Tai-San saved Ellie's life, and Alice assigned herself as Tai-San's bodyguard! Salene ran away from the Mall once, and was almost captured by the Jackels, but loner, May, rescued her, and became a Mall Rats fairly quick. When Amber returned, after everyone thought she was dead, she went back to the Mall rats to be with Bray, along with her good friend, Pride. Then Ned, Tally and Andy stayed in the Mall after the Chosen were finished, and Ned got it together with Alice, while KC made friends with Andy and Tally. Luke, who was lieutenant of the chosen, changed his wicked way, and got it together with Ellie, then stayed in the Mall, but not as one of them. Luke later went back to the Chosen, but returned later to be with Ellie. Salene left the Mall to search for her husband, Ryan, who she found safe and sound, with his friend Zeke, the three returned with Amber, who had been banished from the city by Ebony, along with Bray. Then everyone was shocked when they discovered Ebony had two sisters! Piper and Latisha, who were previously Techno's, left their tribe, to be Mall Rats and re-unite with their sister, Ebony. They also brought their little friend, Aaliyah with them, who was only a child, and was like a sister to them. Soon after, the family was complete when Piper and Latisha's best friend, Lacey joined them after one of the Techno's, Jason, wanted to marry her for some estranged reason. Then a fifth member of the Techno's, Rider, came to the Mall to warn them about the Invasion, but he was off course, too late. The leader of the Gulls, Jet, had lost her tribe during the first Techno attack, and was taken in by the Mall Rats, and soon joined them.
The Mall wasn't the only place to make way for new faces; the city had plenty of them too. Moz, leader of the Mozzies, had lost the election off city leader to
Ebony, so then became her deputy. But when the Techno's arrived, Ebony ordered her to join them, and keep her informed of the goings on at the Stadium, where the Techno's were staying. Moz never returned, so the Mozzies were left leaderless, but then suddenly out of nowhere, Jack and Ellie found Dee hiding at the farm, after she escaped from her imprisonment. She then went back to her tribe, the Mozzies, who later revealed herself as the tribe's true leader, Moz, was a fake.
The Techno's brought a few fresh faces to the city too. Jay, who was one of the deputies of the tribe, was an extremely confused, and evil guy, who kidnapped Latisha, Patsy, Ella and Will, taking them to Hope Island, where the last of the Chosen had been hiding. But later the hostages escaped, but Jay is still with them, and is planning to return to the city with the Guardian and his tribe. Jason, who was a trained arsonist, came to the Techno's from nowhere. The Techno leader told them that he was top be treated as one of their leaders. Then later we discovered that the purpose of Jason coming to the Techno's, was to lead the Invasion, destroy the city. Then last but not least, the Techno leader, who everyone was shocked to discover, was Zoot. The same Zoot Lex had supposedly killed in the Mall that night, the same Zoot who was father to Trudy's baby, and the same Zoot who would do anything for power and chaos.

None of the Mall Rats got much sleep, they had spent the whole night thinking about the previous day, none of them knowing what they were to do next, or how they were to get their friends back.
"Okay, last night, we were all confused, we never meant what we said, when I went to bed, I looked at Aaliyah, and realised, this isn't the kind of world she deserves to grow up in. And then Will and Ella, they are just kids, they don't even know what's going on. Do we really want this sort of future for them? I lost my sister to those creeps, and you have lost people you want back too, but sitting around here grieving all the time won't change that. We have to ace what's happened, we may be on our own, but there's a whole city out there that will want their friend's back. So I think that as soon as we're ready, we go out there, get the help we need, and go get our friends back." Ellie told them.
"Ellie's right, we can't sit around here all day, we may have lost two friends to the Techno's, but what about the ones who are still alive, Tai-San, Patsy, and little Brady. We have to get them back." Amber agreed taking a stand.
"Amber, we don't know if they're alive, what's the point putting our lives in danger for people who might not even be alive?" Ryan protested.
"Ryan, you lost Salene, I know how you're feeling, I lost Bray, but I had to carry on, for my babies' sakes, is this how Salene would wanna see you now?" Amber told him.
Ryan wanted to argue back, but he realized Salene wouldn't wanna see him like this, and besides, he didn't have the strength in him to argue.
"Yeah, okay. I'll do it, for Salene." Ryan nodded his head, and remembered how
Salene had risked her life to find him that day; it was the least he could do.
"What?!" Lex laughed at his friend, confused at why he was acting like this.
"Lex, you gotta do this too, for Tai-San, and Zandra." Ryan told him.
"Hey, don't bring them into this!" Lex snapped back.
"He's right, Lex, do it for them." Amber told him standing up.
Lex shook his head and laughed slightly. "I dunno why, but okay, I'll do it." Lex eventually agreed.
"Well, let's do it." Latisha told them. The eight of them sat round the table, and planned out the attack, while Ellie continued to nurse a sick Danni, as her condition worsened.

"So, Trudy." Ebony said as the two sat anxiously in a deserted room while the
Techno's planned how they would get full control of the city.
"Shut up Ebony." Trudy shook her head.
"Excuse me?" Ebony asked puzzled, she was doing hr best to be friendly; she didn't like this anymore she did.
"This is probably what you've always wanted, Zoot to be alive, and now the two of you will can be together again, control the city." Trudy told her.
"Maybe once, that's what I would have said. But when you guys took me in, I changed. And you may all have found that hard to believe, but I wasn't the old Ebony I used to be. Okay, I tricked you into going with the Chosen, but if you were me, you would have done the same thing." Ebony told her sincere.
"No." Trudy shook her head. "I would never do that to a mother and her child.
Being took from your tribe, your home, friends, with a bunch of crazies I didn't even know!" Trudy snapped at her.
"Look, I can't turn back the clock, but if I could, believe me I would, all I can say is sorry." Ebony told her sighing.
"Sorry isn't gonna bring our friends back, sorry won't change what's happening now. Because of this, I may never see my baby again!" Trudy shouted at her, trying not to cry.
"Hey, wait a minute, you can't blame me for what's happening now!" Ebony jumped to
her defense.
"Oh, yes I can. If it makes me feel better, I can." Trudy told her an evil look on her face.
Then the door swung open, and a Techno stood outside looking at the two carefully.
"Zoot wishes to see Trudy." He told them.
Trudy looked at Ebony, and bit her bottom lip, the Ebony looked back, wondering what was gonna happen.
"Good luck." Ebony shouted as the Techno shut the door, as Trudy left the room to see Zoot.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't our two little traitors. And how are you today."
Jason smirked as he walked into a room where Piper and Lacey had been imprisoned.
"Stay away from me!" Lacey cried in fear. Jason had once wanted to marry Lacey against her will, and Lacey was terrified of what he would do to her.
"Lacey, don't be scared, I'm not gonna hurt you. It wouldn't be right for me to date a traitor, now would it?" Jason smugly replied.
Lace shook her head in fright.
"It's rude to shake your head." Jason whispered in her ear, as Piper bit her bottom lip, hesitant whether or not to do something.
Lacey wanted to say no, but she was shaking with fear, her words trapped in her throat.
"Say no!" Jason screamed, causing the two of them to jump.
"No!" Lacey cried back, tears trickling down her cheek.
"That's better, now why couldn't you have just done that when I asked?" Jason asked smiling. "Just thought I'd let you know, we never got your little sister, she's still in that rat hole with those losers." Jason smiled, looking now at Piper.
"You lay one finger on her" Piper tried to warn him, but her cut her off.
"You'll what?" Jason laughed cunningly, and left the room, slamming the door behind him.
Lacey was crying in fear, and Piper hugged her close.
"Shh, it's okay, it's okay, he's gone now, everything will be okay." Piper assured her, but she just kept crying, thinking about him screaming in her ear. Piper sat, she was frightened too, but not for herself, the Techno's wanted all five of them, they already had her and Lacey, what about Latisha and Aaliyah?

"Okay, so I'll go, gather support from the other tribe leaders, see what's been happening. And the meeting, where will it be?" Lex enquired, putting on his sheriff hat.
"Here, I think it's the best place. Tell them to be here by three o'clock today."
Amber told him.
"Right, well, see you later." Lex said to them, and went to get support.
"Ellie, Jack, Latisha. I want the three of you to go out, see what's going on, where the Techno's are, and as much information as you can about them." Amber told them.
"What about me?" Luke asked anxious to spend time with Ellie.
"The cupboards are almost bare, I want you and Ryan to get as much food as possible. But I doubt there will be much left in the city anyway, everywhere is running low. So you might need to go into the country. Be careful." Amber told them smiling.
"What about this place?" Ellie asked.
"I'll stay here, keep an eye on Danni. And Rider will be here anyway, I don't think he's quite ready to go out yet." Amber told them.
"What about me, I wanna help too." Aaliyah tugged on Amber's jacket. The others laughed.
"Well, you young lady, can help by staying here, and make sure Rider doesn't get sick, okay." Amber smiled at her, lifting her up.
"Okay!" Aaliyah smiled excitedly, and ran to get Rider.
"Are you sure you wanna be going out just now?" Jack asked Latisha, as he knew the
Techno's would still be after her, so she had to be extremely careful.
"Off course, I can't spend every day in here for the rest of my life can I." She smiled at him. "Besides, I've got you to look after me don't I." Latisha smiled again, Ellie just looked at her, and rolled her eyes.
"Look, are we gonna hit the road sometime today or what?" Ellie asked sighed.
"You first." Jack gestured his hand, for Ellie to lead the way, as Latisha linked
to Jack.

The city tribes had all ready gathered, and were arguing already.
"If we carry on arguing like this, we aren't gonna get anywhere!" Dee took a stand, and ordered them all to be quiet. "We're gonna have to stop all this fighting, if we're gonna get something done about this. We all have people in that Stadium we want back, but if we keep arguing, then we'll never get them back, those creeps will have won." Dee told them all, having to shout to beat the noise of the fussing tribes behind them.
"So what are you saying we do, hold hands and storm in there?!" Billy Boy shouted back.
"Well, maybe." Dee replied. They all began to laugh, and Dee rolled her eyes.
"Will you all just listen to me!" She tried to tell them.
"What makes you so important, you haven't even been here more than a month, and already you're taking charge, just get outta here!" Fisheye shouted at her.
"Yeah, you just come from nowhere, take control of the Mozzies, leave me for dead, what's your deal?" Someone cried weakly from the crowds, and staggered up onto the platform, then collapsed.
"It's Moz." One of the leaders whispered, and the crowds began shouting again, as
Dee looked at the ground, to see Moz lying lifeless at her feet.
"She's dead!" Billy Boy cried out to them.
They all panicked, and realised that the Techno's must have done this, who else?
"No, it's okay, she's alive, someone help me will they!" Dee cried, as she turned
Moz to face her and felt her neck for a pulse. "Her pulse is weak, but she's still alive." Dee told them all, then Drazic and Bill Boy ran up to help her.
"Oh my god!" Drazic cried, as he saw the mess someone had made of Moz, she was covered in cuts and bruises, half of her hair ripped out.

Trudy and Zoot, sat facing each other, a table separating the two.
"Is Brady okay?" Trudy asked.
"Of course. You may not think I care, but ever since you showed me her that night in the Mall, I loved her." Zoot told her.
"You, love?" Trudy laughed slightly, then realized what she had done. "No, I'm sorry, sorry." She apologized quickly.
"Relax, your so, jumpy, you never used to be like this. I'm not gonna hurt you, or your friends." Zoot told her.
"People change." Trudy told him.
"Trudy, what's wrong with you, I'm trying to be nice, you just keep snapping back at me with cheeky comments." Zoot puzzled.
"What's the matter, with me? You take me and my baby from our home, lock us in separate rooms, and don't even let me see her! That's what's wrong!" Trudy snapped back frustrated, then looked at Zoot. "I'm sorry, I'm just scared, I don't want anything to happen to my baby, please, let me see her." Trudy asked softly.
"I was thinking, it would be pointless to keep you from your daughter." Zoot told
Trudy, who was sitting awkwardly on a seat.
"So I can see her?" Trudy smiled.
"One thing though." Zoot told her, squinting his left eye.
"Anything, anything." Trudy blurted out.
"You stay with us for the rest of your life, and you never set foot in that Mall, or make contact with any of them." Zoot told her.
Trudy looked on, and shook her head slightly. Zoot was telling her that the only way for her to get Brady back, was to forget all of her friends, and never see her home again.
"It's your choice, I'll give you till noon to think about it, if you haven't made a decision, you can say goodbye to your daught no sorry, our daughter." Zoot smiled.

"I'm sorry about Salene, she was a good person." Luke told Ryan, breaking the silence that had ever since they left the mall.
"What would you know, you never knew her, not like I did." Ryan snapped back.
"No, I guess I didn't. But when she was with the Chosen, I got to know her quite well, she was a kind, decent hearted person, she didn't deserve anything hat happened to her." Luke sympathized, then Ryan swung round, and smacked Luke against the wall by his neck.
"Ryan!" Luke choked.
"What do you mean, know her quite well. She was my wife, I loved her, why can't any of you understand that! And you're not even one of us, why didn't you go back to your little Chosen buddies." Ryan told him.
"Ryan, you're choking me!" Luke struggled, then Ryan let go of his tight grip, and
Luke massaged his neck.
"I'm going in there to get food, you can come in with me, and pretend not to know me, or just wait out here." Ryan told him turning away, and heading for an old warehouse.
Luke shook his head slightly, and then caught up with Ryan. "I am sorry, I know what I said didn't come out right. Salene and I, she had no one, May was never around, and Patsy and Cloe had gone, she just needed someone to talk to." Luke explained to him, Ryan tried to ignore him, and be all rational about things.
"And that someone just happened to be you did it?" Ryan laughed slightly.
"Ryan, you're a good man, I don't want us to be enemies. And in case you're forgetting, it was me who saved your life, I put you in the mines, if I didn't Salene would be grieving your death, not the other way round." Luke told him, widening his eyes slightly.
"You still sent me away, away from my wife, when she needed me the most. She had our baby, and you guys wanted to take it from us, but then she lost it, I should have been here for her." Ryan told him, trying not to show how much he was really hurting inside.
Luke wanted to say something, but he didn't wanna Ryan even more, so the two walked into the Warehouse, as a pair of eyes stalked them in their travels.

"Zoot, I have a message from Jaffa, he has Jay, and he wants to come back, now."
Jason told Zoot as he ran into the Stadium, while Zoot strolled across the
center.
"Our old friend Jay, who ran away during the attack on the Mall?" Zoot puzzled.
"The one and only. He had Latisha prisoner, along with three other Mall Rats."
Jason told him.
"Well, does he still have them?" Zoot enquired.
"No, an ex-chosen, the lieutenant, goes by the name of Luke, he was being held prisoner, helped them escape, as far as they know, they're still at the Mall."
Jason told him.
"Well, Latisha will have to wait for now. We can't go storming in there for a third time, it wouldn't look good. It would make the other tribes think they were safe, and we only wanted the Mall Rats." Zoot explained, and Jason nodded.
"I see, so what are we to do with the prisoners we have now?" Jason wondered.
"Leave them to sweat for a bit. Oh, and did you get our little spy?" Zoot asked curiously.
"Yes, he has been put in with the other Mall Rat prisoners. I thought it best for him to be put there, keep his ears to the ground." Jason told him.
"I agrees, well, get message to Jaffa, he can come across anytime now, and we will be waiting for them. Tell them to come straight here, and try to keep out of sight, we don't want the rest of the city knowing they are back." Zoot ordered.
"Yes sir." Jason nodded, and went to the message server.

Amber paced around the room in which Danni had been lying ill, rambling on nonsense, and hallucinating that she was in the place the Chosen had put her and that Amber was the Guardian! Rider was still asleep, after the previous day, he was very tired, and he had his first meal in days this morning, but his sleep was cut short when Aaliyah jumped onto the bed.
"Boo!" Aaliyah laughed, and Rider shot up in the bed as fast as lighting!
"No!" Rider screamed, then noticed it was only Aaliyah. He had been having nightmares about the pit, and that Zoot would be back for him.
Amber heard the yell, then ran straight to him.
"What is it? Are you okay?!" She asked. Then she sat by Rider, and held his head.
"If you're worried that they'll come back, it's okay, we're here for you, you're safe now." Amber hushed him.
"I don't even know you people, everyone I knew has gone, who are you?" Rider asked tiredly, sitting away from Amber.
"Mall Rats, but you already knew that, my name's Amber, and you already know
Aaliyah don't you?" Amber smiled at him.
"Yeah, I vaguely remember her." Rider smiled at Aaliyah, who blushed slightly, and hid behind Amber. "So where's everyone else?" Rider asked, he had noticed the place was almost empty, he hadn't heard a word since breakfast.
"Out getting news of the Techno's, and some food." Amber told him. "How's that head wound?" She asked, as she noticed the blood had seeped through the patch she had put on it earlier.
"Nah, it's nothing. Thanks though." Rider smiled. "For the patch I mean."
"That's okay, I'm gonna go make some sandwiches for when the others get back, you want some?" She asked.
"Thanks." He nodded, then Amber headed for the Caf, Aaliyah following, and Rider slid back into his bed.

"Well, no one really knows anything about these guys. But the last place they were seen was the old Water Tower." Ellie told them as she walked away from a gang of kids she had been questioning.
"So, every kid in the city is either terrified, or they're telling the truth.
Maybe the Techno's haven't been in this part of town yet." Jack told her.
"No, it's not like them, this Invasion had been planned for months in advance, they were attacking the whole city at the one time, they wouldn't have missed anywhere." Latisha told him.
"What makes you the expert?" Ellie laughed, then Jack frowned at her. "What? Jack, if it wasn't for her and her stupid Techno friends, none of us would be in this mess right now, and Alice wouldn't be dead!" Ellie snapped at him.
"Yeah, but if it wasn't for Latisha and her stupid friends, a lot more of us would have been gone, remember, it was her friends that told us." Jack reminded her.
"Yeah, so. What difference did that make?" Ellie squinted.
"Look, if you have a problem with me, just come out and say it." Latisha told her, standing in front of Jack to face Ellie.
"Um" Jack tried to stand between them, but they just pushed him away.
"Yeah, okay. I have a problem with you. A very big one too. You come waltzing into our tribe, acting as if you own the place, then you go get kidnapped, come back with Patsy, and Amber's babies. Then all of a sudden, you've been turned into a hero. So, what I wanna know is what's your game?" Ellie asked her, and the two stood frozen, looking eye to eye, evil expressions on their faces.

Lex wandered the streets, looking for the tribes, then he got to near the Stadium, and noticed several Techno's loading people into trucks.
"Tai-San." He whispered to himself. He walked closer, and saw some familiar faces, none of the Mall Rats though. He had to see if Tai-San was there, so he jumped into one of the vans, as it drove off, away from the city. Lex hid between some old rags, until the Techno guards had jumped out, then he looked around the faces of everyone.
"Sheriff?" One of them puzzled.
"Quiet." He whispered to the young boy.
"But why are you here? This truck is for the kids only." He told Lex, who punched the side of the truck.
"So no Mall Rats?" Lex asked him.
The boy shook his head. "The Mall rats are staying in the Stadium, most of them anyway, Zoot wants them trained as warriors." He explained, then Lex wondered why he would want to do that, when the Techno's are already a big enough tribe.
"Okay, thanks kid, and good luck." Lex patted the boys shoulder, and jumped from the van, rolling along the ground as he fell.
"It's the Sheriff! Look everyone, he's come to rescue us!" A young boy cried out, causing the truck to stop, and three Techno's jumped out of the front, and chased
Lex back to the city, while the prisoners escaped into the woods.
"Split up!" One of them shouted, and each of them tracked Lex through the city, until he reached the crowds of tribes he had been looking for.
"Techno's, run!" Lex warned them all, and suddenly there was chaos, everyone screaming, looking for places to run too, then they noticed it was only three of them. Billy Boy and Drazic managed to capture them, and they were tied to lampposts on the Platform, and sat, stripped down to their boxers, while the city people threw rotten vegetables and scraps of food at them.

"Ryan, look." Luke whispered as he saw a young girl hiding amongst the boxes. She crept backwards, as Ryan and Luke closed in on her, then she let out a scream, and ran from the warehouse.
"She had a baby with her!" Luke's eyes lit up in surprise.
"Yeah, so. She's just another loner, we can't do anything about it." Ryan told him. "Look, are gonna help me get this food back to the Mall or what?" He asked, then Luke began filling his bag with tins of fruit and beans, along with some cans of coke. "That girl, she did look familiar though." Ryan puzzled. "The hair, I'm sure I've seen someone with that hair before."
"Ryan, everyone in the city has wacky hair-styles, it's probably some kid you've seen at the market sometime." Luke told him.
"Probably." He replied, gazing out of the door.
The young girl stood outside, and peeked in through one of the windows. "Who is that?" She said to herself, looking at her baby. "I'm sure I've seen him before."
She puzzled, looking at Ryan. "Well, you're hungry, aren't you little man, so we better get you some food." She smiled, gripping her son closer, and headed through the streets, strands of blue hair blowing in her face. "But I guess it doesn't matter does it, not when I don't even know where I came from." She said, as the baby closed its eyes slightly. "So what are we gonna do now huh? Mommy lost all her friends to the Techno's, we're alone again, back to the mountains maybe?"

Amber strolled back to Danni's room, after Rider had feel back to sleep, and Aaliyah was playing with the twins. She had been getting worse as the days went on, but something had changed today, she was much paler, but she managed to eat something without throwing up.
"Amber?" She whispered as she forced her eyes open.
"Yeah, it's me. How are you?" Amber asked smiling.
"I don't know what came over me. I woke up, and I suddenly collapsed, that's all I remember. Oh, and I kept throwing up everywhere." Danni moaned. "But I feel better now, I wanna try and walk a little." She told Amber.
"Oh, I dunno Danni, you've only just woken up, I don't think you should get outta bed yet." Amber told her hesitantly. Then the twins started crying.
"I'll have to see to them. Promise you'll stay in bed, and rest, okay?" Amber asked her.
"Okay." Danni sighed, and dropped back onto her pillow.
Amber ran into her room, where Aaliyah was covering her ears tight, as Ella and
Will wouldn't stop crying.
"Uh, Aaliyah, can you get me some nappies?" Amber asked. Aaliyah nodded, then went to the storage cupboards. "Now you two are very naughty. Mommy just changed you half an hour ago." Amber shook her head and smiled at Ella, who yawned, and gave her first smile. "You smiled." Amber smiled back. "Your daddy would be proud." Amber told her. "He loves you very much you know. And I bet he's thinking of you right now, both of you. He'll be back soon though, and he'll be able to hold you in his arms, and hush you to sleep. Read you bedtime stories, and he'll be the one changing your nappies!" Amber laughed.
"Here." Aaliyah smiled, and handed the nappy bag to Amber.
Amber sat the bag on her bad and looked shocked to see there was only three nappies left.
"What's the matter?" Aaliyah asked.
Amber smiled, and rubbed her on the head. "Nothing, you just go and see Danni, she needs some company, okay."
"Is she getting better?" Aaliyah asked. Amber nodded, and Aaliyah shot to Danni's room with the click of a finger!
"Let's hope Ryan and Luke bring some back. Cause if they don't, this place will get very smelly." Amber laughed slightly, and turned Will to his side, clipping the new nappy onto him.

"Okay! Okay! I know you are all probably getting pleasure out of this, I am too.
But we have to stop this, and we have to unite, against these creeps. We want our friends back, and the only way to do that is if we co-operate." Lex told them, looking down in disgust at the Techno's who had been stripped almost naked, and covered in rotten tomatoes and more!
"So, what are you gonna do about it?" Dee asked. "You're the city sheriff, and I don't see Ebony around helping us, she's supposed to be looking out for us all!"
Dee complained.
"Yeah, great job she's doing!" Billy Boy laughed.
"Ebony isn't here, because the Techno's got her. She was hit across the head with a metal pole, and taken away, we don't know if she is alive or not." Lex told them.
"She's alive!" Moz shouted, coming out of the small hut-like place she had been resting in.
"Moz?" Lex asked confused, everyone thought she was dead.
"She gave me over to the Techno's, they didn't want me, no one wants me. So I was used as a prisoner, then I escaped, I was hunted down, and flogged. When they threw me out, I saw Ebony, and she was very much alive." Moz told them all, coughing in pain.
"Well, you've all heard Moz. Ebony is alive, and many of your friends may still be as well. The Mall Rats are in the Stadium, and so are many others, a young boy told me. I jumped into one of the trucks they were taking people in, he said the kids were going away, but the others were staying behind. The Techno's want to train them as one of them. And we cannot let that happen, we have to save our friends, and we can't waste any time on it!" Lex told the crowds, and they all cheered. "Well, if you wanna help your friends, come to the Mall at three o'clock, city leaders only." Lex told them, and left the platform.
"Lex!" Dee shouted on him. "What about Moz?" She asked.
"Bring her with you, okay?" Lex asked her.
"I'll try to drag her along." Dee smiled, and Lex pushed through the crowds back to the Mall.

Ellie walked in front, as Latisha and Jack joked with each other, flirting slightly to each other.
"Look, I hate to break up your little party, but this isn't exactly the time to be telling each other jokes, is it?" Ellie told them.
"Oh, yes Miss!" Jack replied. Latisha giggled slightly.
"Well if that's the way you're gonna be!" Ellie snapped back, and stormed in front.
"Ellie! Wait, look, I didn't mean it. Ellie!" Jack shouted, but she just ran off,
Jack went to chase her. Latisha reached out, and pulled him back.
"Just let her go, I think she's still upset over her sister, she'll get over it."
Latisha told him, as Jack stood right in front of her, she was holding his arm, and they gazed into each others' eyes.
"Yeah, I... I guess." Jack agreed, then leaned forward to Latisha, then she dropped her map.
"Oops, silly me. I'm such a cults!" Latisha laughed, and leant down to pick the map up, Jack leant down with her, and went to get if for her. The two joint hands, and Jack kissed Latisha unexpectedly.
"Jack!" Latisha pulled back in shock.
"Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it." Jack apologised embarrassed.
"No, it's okay, it's my fault. What was I thinking?" Latisha laughed.
"I dunno, what were you thinking?" Ellie blurted, as she had watched the two from round the corner.

"Hey, Amber, I'm back." Lex shouted, taking his hat off, and walked up the stairs, holding it against his stomach.
"Any luck?" Amber asked coming from Danni's room.
"Yeah, they'll be here. Moz is back." Lex told him.
Amber choked slightly, she remembered how it was Moz who got rid of her and Bray in the first place, how would she react not that Amber was on her own?
"Did you hear me, I said Moz is back." Lex waved his hand in front of her, as she stood daydreaming.
"Oh, sorry, yeah, where was she?" Amber puzzled, and the two of them took a seat.
"I dunno, when I saw her she had taken a pretty bad kick in. Bruises, scratches everywhere." Lex told her. "Half of her hair had pulled out to, most of the hair on her right has gone. Poor kid." He sympathized.
"Poor kid?" Amber laughed. "Didn't think that was your style Lex!"
"Amber, you should have seen her, looked like she'd been to hell and back." Lex told her.
"Yeah right." Amber replied.
"No, I'm serious, she was in a right mess. The Techno's had her. Apparently Ebony had given her to them to spy for her, and they didn't need her, so they used her as a slave. Then she tried to escape, the caught her, flogged her, then threw her back onto the streets. She saw Ebony though, alive thank god." Lex told Amber, as he poured himself some water.
"Thank god? You just said she handed Moz to the Techno's, and you're saying thank god?" Amber rolled her eyes. Lex sighed, he could never do anything right when
Amber was there. She looked at the glass he was pouring himself, and grabbed it from him. She opened the bottle, and poured half of it back into the bottle.
"Hey!" Lex moaned trying to grab it back. Amber smiled, and handed him a half filled glass of water.
"There's hardly any water left, we have to be sensible. It's summer now, I can't see us getting much rain, so the tank will be dry for a while." Amber explained.
Then it finally hit her that the Mall Rats needed a lot more than food, they needed water, clothes, nappies for the kids, they needed Bray.

"My friends, I have good news. Our god, Zoot. He is no longer our God, but our leader. Zoot lives on, he is in the city now, with his own tribe, the Techno's, in which our good friend Jay here is a member of." Jaffa told his tribe, who looked on, shocked expressions on everyone's face.
"You mean Zoot's alive?" One of them cried out.
"Very much so." Jaffa replied, and they all cheered in joy, and surprise. "And at first light tomorrow morning, we are heading back to the city, to be with him, and the new, supreme race, the Techno's!" Jaffa cried out, all of them cheering, then he and Jay dismissed themselves to his quarters.
"So, your tribe, they seem happy enough." Jay told him, pouring out some fruit punch for them.
"Oh, well, through the false teachings we gave throughout the Chosen, I won many of them over, there are many who still believe in it, and to hear Zoot is alive brings them great joy." Jaffa nodded, and raised the glass Jay had given him. "To the future."
"The future." Jay smiled back cunningly.
"I have a feeling that your people weren't exactly pleased with your sudden departure." Jaffa puzzled.
"Well, that's nothing for you to worry about, my problem, my tribe." Jay replied, sipping the punch.
"But you were quite high up the ranks, and you just ran off, they had no idea where you were? So, aren't you a little worried what's gonna happen?" Jaffa enquired.
"Not in the slightest." Jay replied, finishing of the punch he had in his glass, and walking to the counter. "Want another?" He asked Jaffa.
"Ah, no." Jaffa replied, as he had almost a full glass left!

"Well, Danni might be getting better, but from what we seen out there, the other kids aren't." Luke told them.
"You mean, some sort of illness?" Amber enquired.
"No, I wouldn't call it that, it's more like some sort of virus. The kids are sick everywhere, especially in Tribe Circus territory." Luke explained to them.
"Danni, did you ever go there before you got ill?" Amber asked her, as she sat uncomfortably on the chair.
"Well, I did the day before, to look for KC." Danni told them.
"Bingo." Lex said.
"Huh?" Danni puzzled.
"Sounds to me that this is a case of food poisoning." Lex suggested.
"It could be, but KC seemed okay." Danni added.
"KC didn't go there for food." Ryan laughed slightly. Amber looked at him, smiling softly to herself; it was good to see Ryan smile, considering his wife had just died.
"So, what do we do about it?" Lex asked.
"Nothing for now. The city have enough problems, I think maybe we should just go down to the Casino, tell them what we suspect, try to get them to check it out. I mean Tribe Circus may be gone, but I can't see the Casino gone!" Amber smiled.
"Just get away from me!" Ellie screamed as Jack tried to contact her. The two ran up the Mall stairs towards the Caf, Latisha following. The three had been gone for some time; they were the last ones back.
"Hey, where did you guys get to?" Lex asked, but the three just ran straight past him into Ellie's room.
"Stay away from me Jack! I never wanna see you again, just get out of my life!"
Ellie cried, and gave Latisha a disgusted look.

"We were going to release you, under surveillance though." Zoot told Ebony, as
Jason stood looking surprised.
"But Zoot..." He tried to argue.
"No Jason, we could use Ebony, she could be our eyes and ears to the goings on of the city." Zoot smiled at her.
"Yeah, I could." Ebony replied quickly.
"She could betray us at anytime my lord." Jason argued.
"I hate arguing, what I have told you all about arguing!" Zoot snapped.
"I'm sorry, but we can't take that risk. This girl is powerful, I've seen her in action, we cannot trust her!" Jason protested.
"Oh, but you're forgetting one thing Jason, we have her sister." Zoot smiled, then Ebony swallowed hard. "So you see, she has no choice. She does what we ask of her, or she can forget about seeing her sister again." Zoot smiled, and Jason smiled back, it was a great idea.
"No!" Ebony cried out interrupting them.
"Excuse me, you either work for us, maybe even join us one day, or you kiss bye, bye to your sister." Zoot told her sternly.
"But Okay, what do you want me to do?" Ebony gave in, which wasn't really like her, maybe the proposition of being a Techno had made her think, after all, Zoot was once her man, and she craved for power and chaos as he did, no matter how much she denied it.
"Nothing really, simply go back to the city, take back your position of city leader, remain with the Mall Rats, and spy. I will send one of my men with you; he will work under cover as one of your guards. And whenever there is any news, he will report back to me." Zoot told her.
"If I do this, you promise not to hurt my sister." Ebony asked.
"Off course, she is in the best of care, no harm will come to her as long as you stay faithful to us." Zoot told her.
Ebony bit her bottom lip, and remembered the old days, when she and Zoot ruled the city. But then she remembered when she saw Piper and Latisha again, and how terrified of the Techno's they were. "Okay, I agree, but please don't tell Piper about it." Ebony begged.
Zoot nodded, and shook Ebony's hand. "Looks like we just made ourselves a deal."
Zoot smiled, and looked over at Jason, who winked back, as Ebony left the room.

"Guys, the city leaders, they're here!" Jack shouted as the small numbers of remaining leaders stood by the grills waiting to get in.
"Okay, let them in Jack. Lex, Danni." Amber said, and the four of them walked down the stairs, to talk with the leaders.
"Um, Aaliyah right?" Luke asked, as he caught her trying to sneak down too.
She shook her head shyly. "Aren't one a bad man?" She asked scared.
"Me, well, I used to be in the Chosen, but I'm a goody now. It's okay, don't be scared, my name's Luke." He smiled, and Aaliyah paced slowly towards him.
Ellie then came from her room, as Latisha was resting, so she didn't have to avoid her. "Luke." Ellie said quietly, as Aaliyah walked up to him.
"Ellie!" Luke replied, jumping from his seat. "How, how are you?" He asked, as this was the first time he had spoken to her since his return.
Ellie walked up to him, and nodded. "I'm doing okay thanks." She tried to smile, but then she remembered how he had left her.
"So, you're with Jack again." He said to her, trying to make it sound like he wasn't entirely certain he was right or not.
"Oh, me? No!" Ellie replied, laughing slightly. "He came back when you left, he was gonna leave again, but all this Techno business made him stay. We're not together though." Ellie explained. She walked closer to him, then saw Aaliyah giggling to herself. "Why don't you go check on Rider, he could do with some company." Ellie lied, and she nodded promptly, heading for Rider.
"Drink?" Luke offered.
Ellie shook her head. "Why did you leave?" She asked, and Luke sighed, this was the question he had been dreading.
"It wanted to come back, believe me, I did. I know that when I gave Jack that letter, you'd never wanna see me again. Ellie, I never stopped loving you. And I didn't leave you, the Guardian took me. He's still alive, and he took me prisoner that day he escaped." Luke explained, Ellie biting her bottom lip, not sure how to reply.
"Are you okay, they didn't do anything to you did they?" Ellie stuttered, she wasn't sure if that was the right thing to say or not.
"I'm fine, they didn't harm me, but they would have if I didn't escape when I did.
The only thing that kept me going was seeing you again, the thought of holding you again." Luke told her, smiling. Ellie felt like crying, no one had ever spoken to her like this before, she was over-whelmed.
"Luke, don't..." She tried to stop him, but he just carried on."
"No, I want you to here me, the letter, I should never have gave you it, I never meant it, any of it. All I wanted to say was I was leaving to work for Ebony, but to be parted like you as I was, it tore me apart, Elli, I love you." He told her, standing up to face her, and took her hands.
Ellie tried to reply, but she was choked, the words I love you wasn't exactly something she'd heard every day, she was so touched by his speech, then suddenly she found the two pressed together, lips touching, and he kissed her.
"No! Luke!" She pushed him away, and wiped her lips. "You think all you have to do is fill me with your lies, say how much you love me, and everything can go back to normal. Because you can't, you left without saying goodbye, the Chosen are still around, Alice is dead and half of the tribe are missing." Ellie told him, and ran back to her room, leaving Luke confused and hurt.

The meeting went on for about an hour, and there wasn't too much hassle. Lex and
Amber managed to keep everything reasonably calm.
"Okay, so all of the tribe leaders are with us. And despite what small numbers they have left in their tribe, they are all willing to help." Amber told them as they waited in the Caf.
"So, how many? I mean the Techno's took a lot of people, do you think the city will out number them?" Latisha enquired.
"Well, providing everyone lends a helping hand, I don't see that being a problem.
But there is one thing..." Danni told them.
"Which is?" Luke asked.
"These guys are pretty powerful, they use extremely strange equipment, and it's not the kinda stuff that wouldn't run without some kind of power source. So I suggest, our first move is to find out where they are getting their power from, and destroy it." Danni suggested.
"Where's Ellie?" Amber wondered as she looked around, and Ellie was nowhere to be seen.
"She had a row with Luke!" Aaliyah giggled. "He made her cry." She added.
Jack then looked at Luke furiously, and stormed for Ellie's room.
"Well, someone will have to stay here and look after the Mall, I think it should be Ellie." Lex suggested.
"Yeah, she just lost her sister, she's a rough time, I don't think she'd be ready for this." Latisha agreed, then saw Ryan roll his eyes. "Oh, I'm sorry, Ryan isn't it. I didn't think, what I meant is that you're older, and stronger than Ellie, we could use you."
"Latisha's right, Ryan, you'd be more use to us right now than Ellie would. But if you don't wanna go, you can stay here." Amber agreed.
"I'm a big girl, I can look after myself." Aaliyah complained, then Latisha smiled, and crouched down to her height.
"I know you are sweetie, but we need someone to help Ellie look after the Mall, and Rider is still sick, he needs you to nurse him better." Latisha smiled, and then flicked Aaliyah's nose as she nodded in agreement.
"Okay then." She moaned.

It had been a long day, but a lot had been achieved in the city, considering the pervious day's events. Many of the city people had gone, taken by the Techno's, and to where? Well, no one knows yet. We know that the Techno spy is still among the many Mall Rats who have been taken prisoner. Ebony is still alive and well, and no soon after she has her foot in the door, she's already made a deal with the Techno's! Trudy and Brady are still safe, and it looks like they will remain safe, as Zoot seems to have taken a shine to his newly acquainted daughter. Piper and Lacey have been locked in a room, separated from the others, and Jason seems to have gone off the idea of marrying Lacey, for now anyway. Salene and Alice had a quick burial sadly, as it wasn't safe for the Mall rats to bee seen in the city, not so soon after their home was invaded by the Techno's. Hope Island will soon be deserted again, as the Guardian, who has returned to his old name, Jaffa, along with Techno, Jay, are heading back to the city, along with the Chosen, to become members of the Techno's, and meet their "God" Zoot. Rider seems to be doing okay, and the remaining Mall Rats, being the kind-hearted people that they are, have decided to let him stay for now. And even more generous of them, they are even letting ex Chosen member, Luke stay with them! Latisha, who the Techno's desperately wanted back, managed to escape their clutched, and is still safe in the Mall with her new tribe, waiting for news of her sisters, Piper and Ebony, and her good friend, Lacey. Amber seems to have re-claimed her role as tribe-leader during Danni's illness, and Tai-San's absence, she was the only one capable of the job. Ellie lost her sister, Alice, during the Invasion, just when she realized she was alive, so she isn't really thinking straight at the moment, and to make things worse, her old flame, Luke is back, wanting a second chance! Jack, who wanted to leave the Mall Rats, decided to stay and help get his friends back, and while he was out with Ellie and Latisha, he ended up locking lips with Latisha, and to make things even worse, Ellie caught them! Lex has now suffered the loss of two wives, after Zandra supposedly died on Eagle Mountain, and now Tai-San has been taken by the Techno's, but he is still making the best an effort as could be as expected, going back to his old job of city sheriff. Danni still seems to be some sort of leader to the tribe, after recovering from her illness, which is now thought to be a mild case of food poisoning, she got form Tribe Circus. Ryan is still around, but the doesn't seem to have much involvement with the Mall Rats just now, as he is extremely confused over the death of Salene. Then finally, little Aaliyah, who is lost in her own little dream world most of the time really, as she relied on Piper most of her life, now she only had Latisha. She always did her best though, and at such a young age, never really understood what was going on most of the time. So while eight Mall Rats remain free, along with Luke and Rider, most of the others have been taken prisoner, and we don't seem to know what has happened to, Tai-San, Pride, Patsy, May, Jet or Zeke. Then a mysterious female made an appearance while Ryan and Luke were searching for food. Someone stalked them in their travels, and when she was spotted, she fled the warehouse, with a young baby in tow. As far as we can gather, this woman was about the same age as Ryan, maybe lightly younger, with streaky blue hair, and a baby. She also seems to have memory loss, and doesn't know who she is or where she came from, all she knows it that someone rescued her from the mountains, and when the Chosen were finished, she and her friends came to the city, then the Techno's took her friends, so she was alone now. Who is this girl, why doesn't she know who she is, and what makes her so familiar to Ryan?

The morning was another bright summer's morning, the air was fresh, the birds were whistling and the sun was shining. Most of the city was still sleeping, but the Stadium was buzzing, Jason and Zoot were awaiting the arrival of Jaffa and Jay, and the Chosen members. The prisoners had finally been rounded up, and had been given specific instructions, obey them as if they were their own people, and you will live, be disrespectful or betray them in anyway, and you will be killed. There wasn't really a huge number of them, most of them had been carted away in trucks to certain compounds where they were trained specially as Techno's, luckily this did not include the Mall Rats, they were safe in the compound, for now
"City people, I know you all fear us. We destroyed your home, took your people, and sadly even lives were lost. But you must believe me; none of these deaths were purposely done, we didn't mean for anyone to be killed. Today you will take the first steps to becoming a Techno. We will train you as warriors, teach you the values of power and chaos, and as we told you before, obey, and you live, betray and you die. You see, it's as simple as that. You will each be split into groups, these groups will be decided upon what tribe you are from. If you have any questions regarding missing friends or your training, please don't hesitate to ask my good friend, Jason." Zoot smiled, the prisoners with hands tied behind their backs, two Techno's per prisoners, with guards wherever you looked. Piper and Lacey were nowhere to be seen however, Zoot had wanted them separated, as he decided it wouldn't take them long to realize it was better with them.
"Hey! Jason, or whatever your name is, we wanna know about some friends of ours." Pride stuck his hand up, and Jason walked towards him, as the troops took the rest of the Mall Rats to get ready for their first Techno lesson.
"Well, what tribe they with, and what are their names?" Jason asked. Pride was amazed, this guy was actually being calm and considerate, he thought he would bite his head off, and not listen, but Jason simply stood and took notice.
"They're Mall Rats, Ebony, Piper and Lacey. Oh and Trudy and Brady." Pride enquired.
"Trudy and the kid are safe; they will be safe for the time being. Piper and Lacey are being trained elsewhere, separate from you people. And as for Ebony, well Zoot hasn't yet decided on her fate." Jason smiled. Zoot had given strict orders that no one is to know about his deal with Ebony, especially not the prisoners, not even his own tribe.

"Well, these guys aren't all that bad." KC said.
"Huh!" Patsy laughed. "They kill Salene and Alice, take the lot of us prisoner, and our other friends could be dead for all we know" Patsy rolled her eyes. "And you say they're not all that bad!" She shook her head in shame. "What's your problem?" She asked in disgust.
"Patsy, he didn't mean it like that. Come on, we can't afford to fight amongst ourselves, not now. We need each other." Zeke told them.
"He's right; we have no one, no leader, no tribe, no home. All we have is each other, so we have to stick together. Be nice." May smiled, then Pride raced to catch up with them. "Pride, what did you find out?" May asked.
"Well, Trudy and the baby are safe. Lacey and Piper are okay; they're being trained separately. "He told them, as they continued walking, Techno's all around them.
"And Ebony?" Jet asked.
"Well, she's alive, but things didn't sound too good. That guy, Jason, said that she was okay, but Zoot hasn't made up his mind about her fate." Pride told them, and they all sighed in doubt.
"If they waste Ebony, then we'll have no chance of getting outta this mess." Rikki sighed, walking by CJ.
"Look, who are you guys anyway?" Patsy puzzled.
"They're my friends, I hid them in the Mall, the Techno's got them too. They're with us for now, okay?" KC explained.
"Yeah whatever, but whether they waste Ebony or not, it wouldn't make any difference to this whole thing." Zeke replied.
"Silence!" One of the guards ordered, as the whole Stadium fell silent, and the tall, heavy doors opened, and a crowd of people entered. Then Patsy fell back, Pride catching her, as Jaffa entered the gates, followed by the Chosen and Jay by his side

The Mall Rats prepared to go out, with Ellie staying behind to look after the Mall, and Aaliyah. Then Rider came running out.
"Look, I can't lie around here all day, I have to do something. You guys have been great, but I gotta do something. Lacey is in trouble, and so are your friends, I'm going back." Rider thanked them, and headed off.
"Wait! You can't just go, we need you." Latisha cried down at him.
"I'm not one of you, you guys probably don't even want me here, I'll go, it's okay. I do understand, honest." Rider smiled, and turned back to the grills.
"Look mate, you may have been a Techno, but you did warn us about the Invasion, risked your neck, the least we can do is let you stay here, for now at least, until this whole things blows over." Ryan told him.
Latisha looked at Ryan, and smiled in thankfulness at backing her up.
"If it's okay with the others." Rider finally agreed, and the others nodded, without hesitation.
"Right, well, we'll be going, you'll be okay won't you Ellie?" Amber smiled. Ellie nodded back, as Aaliyah stood by her. "The babies will need another feed in half an hour remember, I left some milk in the cupboard in my room." Amber told her.
"Amber! Relax, I know. It'll be fine, and I have Aaliyah to help me, okay." Ellie rolled her eyes, and smiled, then Amber kissed her two children on the forehead, then the Mall Rats headed for the streets.
"Come on then, let's get these kids to bed, and we can play a game." Ellie smiled, trying not to remember Jack and Latisha.
"Yeah!" Aaliyah cried happily. "Snaked and Ladders?" She asked.
"Whatever you want." Ellie replied, and lay Ella into her cot, followed by Will at the opposite end. Then the two sat on the floor in Amber's room, to watch over the kids, while Ellie hauled out some old games Paul, Patsy and Cloe used to play with.

"Look, Moz. I don't have nay idea what those creeps did to you, but it had nothing to do with me, I swear." Dee told her, as Moz continued to blame her for what the Techno's had put her through.
"So it was just pure coincidence that you return when I'm gone?" Moz said shaking her head laughing.
"Look, in case you're forgetting it was you who got rid of me not the other way round. I know we never get along, but I think we should at least try to reach some sort of understanding, for now. I hate these guys as much as you do, why would I plot against you with them? Believe me sweetie, if I wanted my revenge, then I certainly wouldn't involve the Techno's!" Dee told her for like the millionth time, as Moz wasn't buying w word Dee said to her.
"Yeah, well what proof do I have of that?" Moz said to her rolling her eyes.
Then Dee looked on a grinned, "and what proof do you have that I did it!" Moz looked back angrily.
"Well, whether you did or you didn't, that doesn't matter, I'm back now, so I think I'll get back into my role as Mozzie leader." Moz smiled, and then saw the other Mozzies watching them from the next room.
"We don't want you as a leader Moz, Dee is great. We haven't the slightest problem with you being a Mozzie, but as leader, I don't think so." Becca told her, as Mozzie opened the door to the eves-dropping group.
"What?!" Moz cried in shock.
"You heard them Moz, you're welcome to be one of us, but it looks like I'll be the one leading, not you." Dee looked at her smiling, as Moz looked at her in an evil way.
"So Dee, what's the updates on the Techno's?" Becca smiled, and linked Dee's arm, and they walked to their seats, followed by the rest of the tribe, Moz sulking, and furious by the door.

Piper and Lacey were still sleeping, they had no bed to lie on, and floor was unbearably uncomfortable.
"Ladies, Zoot is wishing a word." Jason smiled, and then Zoot walked in.
"I thought you might like to know, the Rats have been taken for training, and that the two of you will begin yours after lunch." Zoot smiled, as the two forced their tired little bodies into a sitting position, and yawned.
"Why train us, it's not like we're gonna be one of you again!" Piper laughed.
Jason looked at her, and then walked up to Lacey, and spun round to face Piper. He reached into his pocket, causing Piper to edge back slightly. "I think you will, for her sake." He smiled, showing her a picture of them, with Ebony and Latisha.
"You can't always use them to get to use, it's not fair!" Piper shrugged.
"There is no fair in a world like this, give and take, power and chaos." Zoot told her shrugging slightly, then Jay entered.
"You murdering creep!" Lacey shouted.
"Nice to see you again too, Lacey." Jay smiled. "Just thought I'd pop in and say hi.
"Well you've said it, you can go now, and take your little friends with you. What kind of a man gets his kicks out of killing innocent children." Piper told him, shaking her head. Jay looked on puzzled.
"You remember, Cloe, the kid you hid in the cupboard, when you took Latisha hostage, you killed her!" Piper screamed.
"Well, well, well, I knew one of us would do it some day, had no idea it'd be you first though." Zoot smiled.
"You think it's funny, you're just as sick as he is." Lacey said disgracefully.
"No, you see, we had a pact, whoever killed a Rat first, got a reward, a night with whoever they chose." Zoot smiled. "Looks like Jay won, so he gets to pick his lady." Zoot laughed, and left the room.
"It's Trudy and the baby I feel sorry for, what kinda kid deserves to be brought up by a man like you!" Piper screamed, as they left the room, slamming the door behind them. The cackling sounds of their laughing echoing all the way down the hall, as Piper and Lacey hugged, and sat with each other in fear, but not wanting to let them see how terrified they were, they had to stay strong, if they wanted to get out of here alive they had too.

Trudy sat in a chair, with Brady sleeping in her arms, wrapped warm in a blanket Zoot had kindly given them.
"Trudy, I hope the accommodation is to your liking,. I've ordered for someone to guard you. I don't want any harm coming to you, or her." Zoot said smiling at his sleeping daughter, as he entered the room, closing the door quietly behind him so as not to disturb his sleeping beauty.
"Well, the room's okay I guess, but don't think that by doing all of this you will win me over. I was weak once, that's when I joined the Chosen, I'm stronger now, and I know that you wouldn't lay a finger on my baby, so you can threaten me all you want, I'm not gonna change my mind." Trudy told him solidly, as Brady yawned restlessly.
"No, I know that. I couldn't harm her, but I could keep he from you, as the Chosen did, you wouldn't like that much either would you." Zoot said to her cunningly.
Trudy looked at him, and shook her head. For the time being, it didn't look like she'd have much choice, either she joined them, or looses her baby.
"I have a surprise visitor for you, and I think it would do you good to see him. I'll send for one of the guards to bring him along." Zoot smiled, as Trudy puzzled to whom he was talking about. "Oh, and another thing, if you see people in Chosen outfits, don't be alarmed, they're just staying with us for a while. And please to upset Big G by calling him Guardian, he hates it now, it's Jaffa." Zoot smiled and left the room. Trudy tightened her grip on Brady, and gulped in pain, as she remembered what the Chosen had put her through, she couldn't cope is she saw them again, she just couldn't.

"KC, why do they have to hang about with us?" Patsy moaned, as KC and Rikki tagged along with them, as the rest of the Mall Rats were separated to learn more advanced things.
"Patsy can you just shut up and stop moaning!" KC snapped, as the Techno's approached.
CJ grinned slyly, and winked at Patsy, who rolled her eyes in reply, and looked away.
"Okay, if we're gonna be working together, I'm gonna need to know your name." Patsy asked, walking over to Rikki who stood alone.
"You already know it." Rikki frowned.
"Well I forgot. Look I am doing my best to be friendly here, so some co-operation would be nice." Patsy sighed.
"Okay, well it's Rikki." She replied, giving a slight smile.
Patsy stuck her hand out, as a sign she wanted to hand shake. "Patsy." She smiled, as she realized by the look on Rikki's face she could do with a friend, and right now, that was exactly what Patsy needed too.
"As you may have remembered, my name is Jason, one of the Techno group leaders. I will be leading my men in their training of you. We will just be showing you how to use some of the gadgets we have, the karate-like stuff will be left to the older ones." Jason explained.
"So what kinda gadgets do you use?" CJ asked, trying to sound interested.
"There's this, which produces a laser beam towards the person you are aiming for. But this will be something we teach you about later in the course. We start with simple things, like this expanding bar, made of strong aluminum. And you may think that aluminum is a soft element, but when specifically used, it can act as an extremely strong and powerful weapon." Jason explained, as they tried not to fall asleep, CJ was about the only one who looked interested.

"Can't we at least stop for a break!" Amy moaned as they neared the city. "We've been walking for hours." She cried.
"Amy, will you stop whining and walk, it's not long to go now." Della told her.
Della and Amy were sisters, Della was the oldest of the two, and they also had a younger brother, Paul, who was only six years old.
"I'm tired too, but we didn't come all this way to give up now." Della told her, and stuck her arm around her little sister, while Paul hauled himself tiredly along.
"Look, see that rock over there, if I walk to it, can we please rest there!" Amy begged, as she felt her legs were gonna give up on her. Della looked in front of them, and saw a cluster of rocks near the riverbank, about five meters in front of them.
Della nodded, and smiled at Paul who looked as if he was gonna collapse. "Okay, only for an hour, then we're off again, okay." Della finally agreed, and Amy breathed a sigh of relief.
"Thank you!" She said, taking a huge sigh of relief, and widened her eyes slightly.
"So what makes you think the city will be any different to the one we just came from?" Della asked.
"Maybe this time we won't have to put up with crazy tribes wanting control of everything. I heard they're pretty strong here, they work together. And there's this one tribe, called the Mall Rats I think, they're like top dogs." Amy told her, as she spoke from gossip she had heard in their travels.
"Well I hope you're right, because I really couldn't face another trek like this again!" Della laughed.
"I'm hungry." Paul cried, as he raked in Della's bag hunting desperately for scraps.
"I'm sorry baby, we're completely out." Della told him, rubbing his back, then she picked him up and lay him on her lap.
"But you know what, as soon as we reach civilization, we'll get more okay." Amy smiled, trying to keep his hopes up, as he made himself comfy, and fell asleep in Della's arms.

"Jack, I know this is a lot to ask, but I really need this one massive favor, please!" Amber asked.
"What?" Jack sighed smiling.
"The Stadium, it's bound to have extremely strong security, I mean these guys seem pretty hi-tech, so I just wanted someone to go out there, scout around, see what you can get." Amber explained, and Jack looked at Latisha.
"I guess I could go, but it's far too dangerous for me to go alone." Jack replied.
"I'll go." Latisha jumped.
"No, I couldn't take you. What if something happened to you?" Jack told her.
"Jack, there's more chance of you getting information if I come with you, I know the area better than you do, and I do know a little about computers and all that stuff." Latisha smiled.
"Look, Jack, we have to get on, see what other information we can gather, it's up to you." Amber told him.
Jack looked at Latisha, and then finally agreed for her to accompany him.
"Okay, back at the Mall in an hour, if you're not back we'll come looking." Amber laughed slightly, then caught up with the others.
"So, you into computers?" Jack asked, as the two walked off, side by side, to the Stadium.
"Well, I got a grade 1 in my exams for knowledge and understanding, but I was useless at the practically stuff. And the Techno's are pretty technical guys themselves, so yeah I'm pretty knowledgeable in that are." Latisha smiled, as Jack looked away slightly.
"I'm sorry about before. I shouldn't have kissed you like that." He apologized.
Latisha laughed, and looked into Jack's eyes. "It's okay, you already said sorry. And anyway, if anyone's to blame, then it's me. And I'm not sorry." She replied, and Jack blushed slightly. "Oh god, I am so sorry, I have no idea where that came from!" Latisha blushed as she realized exactly what she had just said.
"From the same place it's coming from me?" Jack asked, then Latisha stopped him.
She took his hands as she had did before, and kissed him again, this time Jack making the first move, and she touched his face, as he did back, then the two kissed passionately.
"No, um, that's not why we're here, w have to get to the Stadium, and find information." Jack pulled back, and nodded to himself.
"Off course, this is not the time for this." Latisha agreed, and the two then let go of each other's hand, and continued to the Stadium.

The Mall Rats had been slaving the day away, making sure all orders were carried out, and that they understood how to use weapons. But CJ was taken away, as he was said to be working slackly, and not putting in enough effort.
"CJ, how are you?" Zoot asked smiling, as Jay brought him in.
"Zoot, I wondered how long I'd have to stay with those losers!" CJ moaned, and sat himself on the couch.
"Yes, I am sorry about that, you didn't find out much did you?" Zoot agreed.
"Not a single thing. Gees those guys have absolutely no social life!" CJ laughed, but there were two guys I met, one of them a Mall Rat, they were wicked, pretty cool." CJ told him.
"You want them brought to you?" Zoot asked. "I mean it's the least we could do." He smiled, and CJ nodded.
"Get them Jay." Zoot told Jay who was standing behind the couch.
"They'll be with you soon." Jay nodded, and went for the prisoners.
"Is there any chance of them co-operating with us?" Zoot enquired.
"Well, the chick I met, pretty hot, and she was a loner, her name's Rikki, I think we might win her, but the other dude, KC, he's a Mall rat, I can't see him budging, not just yet anyway." CJ frowned.
"That's a shame. Will you be okay for them to see you on your own?" Zoot asked.
"They're not exactly tough, I think I can handle them." CJ smiled, and then Zoot left the room.
So CJ was the spy all along, and he had tricked KC into letting him into the Mall, who knows what could have happened if the Invasion didn't happen when it did!

"Okay, so we have all the weapons we can gather, what's next?" Billy Boy enquired, as Amber, Danni and Ryan approached.
"We gather information; see what we can dig up. Who these guys are, where they came from, and if our friends are alive." Amber shouted, to beat the noise of the rabble. "And if they're alive, we find out where they are, what's happening to them, and get them out." Amber told them
"And if they're not?" Moz took a stand, and walked onto the stage by Amber.
"Well, if they're not." Amber swallowed hard; making sure Moz didn't try to pull any stunts. "We fight, for justice!" Amber told the crowds, and Moz shook her head. The tribes cheered, agreeing with what Amber had said.
"So what are we waiting for?" Danni punched into the air. "Let's get these creeps once and for all, and help our friends!" She shouted smiling confidently.
The crowds cheered again, and then huddled of, carrying out the orders Amber had given them, and began to look for their friends.

"How did it go?" Ellie asked, as she had just got the twins back to sleep, and the other Mall Rats were returning.
"Well, we've managed to talk most of the city round." Rider told her.
"Yeah, but there's still a few who won't accept what's happened, and it looks like the Techno's have got a few supporters too." Danni sighed.
"Yeah, but all in all, I think we pretty much out number them." Lex said, taking off his sheriff hat.
"I've made some soup. It's almost ready." Ellie told them, as they all took seats at the Caf.
"I helped!" Aaliyah smiled.
"I won't be eating any then." Lex laughed.
"Lex!" Amber frowned and kicked him slightly.
Aaliyah looked at him hurt, as if she were about to cry.
"It was a joke!" Lex shook his head. "Gees." He laughed, and took the first bowl of soup for himself.
"So, what exactly happened with Moz?" Ellie enquired.
"She said" Jack tried to explain, but Ellie cut him short.
"I wasn't asking you, Amber." She smiled, and looked away from Jack.
"Something to do with a deal ebony had with the Techno's I think. She never really said much about it." Amber took a sip of the soup.
"Well the deal mustn't have worked, they took her prisoner didn't they." Latisha sighed.
"Maybe that was part of the plan, make it look like they were taking her prisoner, then she would become one of them, or whatever." Rider suggested.
"Nah, that's not Ebony's style, she wouldn't have let them hit her over the head like that, just so she could get a bit of power." Danni disagreed.
"I dunno, sounds like Ebony to me." Lex argued.
The other Mall Rats agreed with him, knowing Ebony, she probably did have some sort of deal with them.
"Anyway, moving on from the subject of Ebony, the other tribes have agreed to make plans for a revolt, they are gathering weapons, and whatever information they can." Amber told them. "So when the time is right, we strike, and get our friends back." She nodded, the others copying.

"What are we gonna do when we get there?" Paul asked.
"Well, we'll find food, shelter, make new friends, maybe even join a tribe if we're lucky." Della smiled.
"Join a tribe? Since when?" Amy asked.
"Well, I dunno, I just thought that if we're gonna make a fresh start here, new friends, we'll probably end up joining a tribe." Della told her, as Paul smiled happily to himself.
"Look!" Paul cried, as they finally made it to the city.
"It's huge!" Della said in shock. "Cities tend to be big, but this is huge, it's beautiful!" She cried.
"All I see is pollution, and anarchy. Listen, all you can hear is fear." Amy told her, rolling her eyes.
"I like it!" Paul smiled, and hugged Della close.
"Yeah, this is our new home, so we'll have to like it. We're gonna have to be extra especially careful now, no wandering off, we have to look out for each other. And remember, our business is our business, no one else's, and whatever secrets we have, we keep. Okay." Della told them, and they both nodded.
"Com on then, let's meet the neighbors." Amy smiled, and three walked into the city.

"When I woke this morning, I found this young girl, in the kitchens, stealing our food. I have to say, I am very disappointed. The food within this Stadium, belongs to us, the Techno's, and you, as our prisoners, eat only when we allow it." Jay told them, as the Mall rats, and a few other kids, were herded into the courtyard, to see one of their friends, standing in chains, badly beaten. "What we do to her, will be a lesson to you all. Hang her up!" Jay ordered CJ, who KC and Rikki were horrified to see was a Techno. CJ walked onto the platform, and tied a rope to one of the railings above them, then May was dragged up too.
"No!" Patsy screamed, and ran for May, but Pride held her back, and hugged her, closing her eyes from the sight.
May looked down at Pride in fear, and mimed to him, I love you. Pride tried not to let this get to him, but then KC and Zeke suddenly screamed, causing havoc, and Jet ran to free May, who was in tears of fear.
Pride grabbed May from Jet, and hid her amongst a pile of rubble, as the other Mall Rats were grabbed by the Techno'', and Jay stood furiously, staring them all dead in the eye.
"Make yourself known!" Jay ordered, but May just lay hidden, holding her breath, not wanting to move in the slightest. "Now!" He shouted. He waited for about two minutes, but May stayed in hiding, then Jay grabbed Patsy. "Or the kid dies!" He screamed, then May was confused, either she gave up her life, or let Patsy die, she had not a single clue what to do.

What's going on out there?" Ebony enquired, as she and Trudy sat in a room with Zoot.
"One of the Mall Rats, found stealing from us, I think Jay is having trouble, I better go and check it out.
"Mall Rats?" Trudy panicked.
"Who?" She worried. "What are you gonna do them?" She asked.
May I think her name was, she'll be killed, public humiliation. I am sorry Trudy, I wouldn't have had her killed, but Jay carried out the punishments, it's not my decision." Zoot explained.
"May?" Ebony said shocked. "So what, you kill her for trying to steal food. But she never got any, why kill her?" Ebony asked.
"You can't do this!" Trudy screamed, then one of the guards came rushing in.
"Zoot, the prisoner, May, she has escaped, the Mall Rats caused a distraction, we can't find her." He told him, short of breath.
"Well, find her! And fast!" Zoot ordered.
"We have a young girl, we are using her as bait, Jay has told them that unless she makes herself known, then the girl will die." He explained, to a furious Zoot.
"Excellent, be off now." He told the guard, who went back down to help Jay.
"You can't kill am innocent girl, just because May won't give herself up." Trudy argued. Then she looked at Ebony, and realized she wouldn't give her any support. "Please! I'm begging you." Trudy pleaded.
"Like I said, as much as I'd like to help, Jay is in charge of the prisoners, what he says go, I can't interfere." Zoot explained again, then Trudy stormed out. Zoot chased her, leaving Ebony with Brady.
"Well Brady, looks like mommy and daddy are having a lovers tiff." Ebony laughed, shaking her head, as Brady looked on, completely clueless to what was going on around her, then Ebony looked at the door. She bit her lower lip, this could be her once chance of escape.

"Guys! I have some news, there's chaos in the stadium, an old friend of Latisha, one of the Techno's, just contacted us, they're executing one of the Mall Rats!" Jack shouted, breathlessly, as he entered the Mall, followed by Latisha, after they had been out gathering information on the enemy.
"Yeah, cause Latisha is so great, she used to be one of them, remember." Ellie rolled her eyes, and Amber looked at her curiously.
"Tai-San!" Lex blurted.
"Lex, I doubt it's Tai-San." Ryan assured her.
"Tai-San would have her reasons, she wouldn't go along with the Techno's, remember how she stood up to the Guardian." Lex told them, panicking.
"Pride." Amber thought. "Pride is just like Tai-San, it could be him!" Amber panicked too; Pride wouldn't have been here if it weren't for her.
"Well, this Techno, he says he could open the gates for us, just long enough to grab the prisoner, but we wouldn't have any time left to rescue the others, just this one." Latisha told them, leaning against the railings for support, as she was so short off breathe.
"Okay, well, is this really worth it? I mean we have no idea who it is in there, so we have to choose, risk our lives, or wait for the final revolt?" Danni told them.
"I say we attack, my wives in there!" Lex took a stand, then Amber copied.
"Me too, if this is Pride we're talking about, we can't just leave him like that.
"Okay, so, are we all agreed?" Danni asked. "We attack now. But like Latisha said, we grab this prisoner, then get out." She nodded, the others copied.
The Mall Rats moved at full speed to get ready, this time Latisha and Ellie stayed back together, as they couldn't risk Latisha being captured, but Rider was willing to chance it. And Aaliyah was at the Mall too off course, looking after Will and Ella.

"The fire exits are open, she has escaped the Stadium, everyone out now, search for her!" Jay ordered.
"No!" Trudy screamed. "Let her go!" She ordered.
"Trudy!" Patsy cried in joy, as she was happy to see her old friend was still alive and well.
"Take her!" Jay ordered, trying to calm his temper.
"I don't think you wanna do that!" Trudy warned, edging back slightly.
"Leave her!" Zoot told them, as he stood by Trudy.
"Zoot, you know the rules, I dole out the punishments where prisoners are concerned." Jay reminded him.
"I am very much aware of that Jay. Trudy is a special guest, and I'm afraid what she says goes." Zoot told him, shocking everyone, especially Trudy.
"I am?" She frowned.
"Trudy is the mother of my child, she is my woman, she wishes for this prisoner to be released, so you will do that." Zoot told him, and Trudy smiled at Jay, quite pleased with herself.
"Ebony!" Jet cried in shock, as Ebony fled the compound, where Zoot ordered her to be captured.
"Run Ebony!" KC cried, then was hit by a Techno, where Pride tried to protect him, but was forced back.
"Get those two inside!" Jason ordered, as he had been watching from the corner, with Lacey and Piper.
"Run Ebony!" Piper smiled at her sister, who realized the Techno guards gaining on her, and she made her way to the Mall, hoping they wouldn't get her.
Then suddenly, the Mall Rats and other prisoners broke into a huge fight with the Techno's, then the other Mall Rats, being led by Amber and Lex arrived at the gates.
"Jesus, sounds like they've already started their own revolt." Lex gasped, as the thunderous sounds of the fighting and screaming made themselves heard.
"Lex! What the hell are you guys up to?!" Billy Boy shouted, as he, and several of his tribe, along with the other tribe leaders had been following them.
"Billy Boy, look, we can explain." Danni tried to tell him.
"Explain later, we're joining the fight, we're getting our friends back." Moz smiled, and the crowd herded through the guards at the gate, and joined in the fight, followed by the Mall Rats.
"Tai-San!" Lex shouted, looking frantically for his wife.
"What are these city dwellers doing in here?" Jason ordered, as Jaffa came face to face with Luke.
"Well, well." Jaffa smiled, and Luke looked on in disgust.
"Get a grip Guardian, you're a loser, you don't scare us anymore." Luke laughed, and Jaffa frowned.
"I think you'll find I do scare people, and it's Jaffa now." He told him irritated.
Then Luke turned around, and clenched his fist, swinging it back round at an unsuspecting Jaffa, who was blown to the ground, a burst lip. "That was something I should have done a long time ago." He told him, and walked away, Jaffa sat in shock.
"Amber!" Trudy cried in happiness, as Amber ran to her. "Amber!" She cried again, then Techno's blocked their view, and Jason dragged Trudy back.
"Trudy!" Amber screamed, and ran to her friend, trying to get Jason from her, but he simply knocked her to the side, where she landed beside May.
"Amber, Amber!" Trudy tried to get to her friend, who had been knocked unconscious.
Pride punched his way through the crowds, where he met with Lex. "Where's Amber?" He asked, Lex shrugged.
"Tai-San!" He cried.
"Tai-San's over there somewhere I think. Good luck!" Pride told him, and Lex nodded, running to find his wife.
"Oh no, Amber, you okay?" May whispered, not wanting to attract attention, then Pride grabbed her.
"What have you done to her!" He shouted.
"Pride. I didn't do anything, it was Jason." She told him, he just thrashed her to one side, and went for Amber, then ran to get Jason, who made his way up a flight of stairs, Trudy in his grip.
"Get away dweller!" Jason told him, and Pride punched him, Trudy ran away, looking for Zoot.
"Moz, look out!" Dee warned, as Jaffa jumped out behind her. Moz ducked, and Jaffa fell to the ground again, then Moz just looked at Dee rolling her eyes.
"Yeah, a thank you would have been nice." Dee shook, then ran to save Rikki from an oncoming laser beam.
"Thanks!" She smiled, then the two separated to help their friends.

The fighting went on for what felt like hours, and finally the prisoners were rounded up, separated to the city dwellers and to who were previously captured in the Invasion.
"Today, you have made an extremely big mistake, we were in the middle of an important execution, and you bring your friends into this place, and ruin it!" Jay screamed, raising his voice louder at every word.
"Look, if you're gonna waste us, can you just get on with it!" Moz shouted, the Techno's laughed.
"We never wanted for any of this violence, all we wanted was for you to communicate, and let us do to the city what we wanted." Jason told them, as the prisoners laughed.
"Now, I have spoken to Zoot, and he has agreed to let you go." Jason told them. "Well, those of you who only came today at least, the original prisoners will remain here, to become one of us. But I'm afraid the execution must go on, make an example, and you will then all know how serious we are!" Jason yelled, and they all hissed, crying no.

"You think something's happened to them?" Latisha asked, as Ellie sat with the twins. "They've been gone for almost three hours now." She added.
Ellie shrugged.
"Look, I know how you and Jack felt once, but he's moved on since then, and by the sound of things, so had you. But when you saw us kiss, obviously he hadn't. And I'm sorry if we hurt you, but I would like it if we could all be friends, you me and Jack." Latisha said, and stood up, pacing in front of Ellie.
"Yeah, well maybe you'd like that, but I'm sorry, I can't see the two of us being friends." Ellie told her, then went to the toilets.
"Help me! Get the grills down!" Ebony cried as she finally made it to the Mall.
"Ebony!" Latisha cried, and went straight for the grills, as Ebony ran to the sewers, and pushed the stalls in front of the door, then Latisha ran and bolted the door leading to the car park.
"What's going on here?!" Ellie ordered.
"Ebony!" Aaliyah cried happily.
"The Techno's are coming, we gotta hide. I've got all the entrances secured, but I think we should go to the sewers quickly now." Ebony told them.
"Where are the Mall Rats?" Ellie demanded.
"What do you mean?" Ebony puzzled, as she had escaped from the Stadium before the Mall Rats arrived.

"Look, we ain't going anywhere till you give us our people back!" Becca shouted.
"You leave now, alone, without your friends, or join this prisoner in execution." Jay smirked.
Jack rolled his eyes. "What are we supposed to do now?" He whispered to Amber, who was still a little hurt after her fall.
"We don't have much choice." She sighed. "I'm sorry guys, there's nothing much more we can do.
"What?!" Lex cried. "I am not leaving Tai-San with these creeps!" He protested.
"Lex, if we start another riot, then May won't be the only one killed, we have to go now. We'll have another chance." Danni told him, and went to rub his shoulder, but he edged to the side.
"Yeah, when we're more organized." Rider agreed.
"Silence!" Jason shouted, making the younger ones jump.
"No!" Zoot shouted, coming down the stairs, with Trudy at his side, holding Brady.
"How cozy." Lex said, rolling his eyes laughing to himself.
"This prisoner will be freed, and shall work away from her other tribe members, until she has been disciplined." Zoot told him. Trudy's pleading must have worked.
"Zoot!" jay went to argue, as he was furious with this, but Zoot gave him a warning look, and Jay cut May down, who ran to Pride and held him close.
"Take her!" Jason ordered.

The city was flooded with crowds from the Stadium, and even some lucky prisoners had managed to sneak from the place. Della, Amy and Paul were exhausted, they had just got to the place, when they were told to run, as Techno guards chased them back to the city center, away from the Stadium.
"What was that all about?!" Della exclaimed, gasping for air, as the three of them sheltered in an abandoned bar, where the young woman Ryan had seen the previous day, was also hiding.
"He... Hello." Amy whispered.
"Please, I don't want any trouble." The young girl begged.
"It's okay, we're not gonna hurt you, we just want to stay here for the night, please." Della smiled, as the woman came from the shadows.
"That's a baby!" Paul blurted out in amazement.
"Who are you, what do you want?" The girl enquired nervously.
"We just want shelter for the night. We've just arrived in the city, what's going on out there?" Della asked, trying not to frighten the girl, or her baby.
"These new guys call themselves the Techno's, they've taken control of the city, many of the tribes are gone, they're based at the Stadium, that's where the prisoners are, loads of them. I was lucky, they almost got me, but decided there was no use for me, as I had a baby." She explained. "What are your names?" She questioned.
"I'm Della, this is my little sister, Amy. And our younger brother, Paul." Della smiled.
"We just got here, been traveling for days, we hoped it'd be safe here. Thought we'd find some nice tribe, pretty well off, that would take us in." Amy explained. "But from what I've seen with these Techno guys, I guess we were wrong." She sighed.
"What about you." Della added.
"I'm not sure, I mean I don't know who I am." She replied, confusing Della and Amy even more.
"What do you mean?" Della asked enquiringly.
"Well, one day, I found myself alone in the mountains, pregnant and alone. A small tribe, called the Vixens found me, and took me in. I gave birth to my son, then about three months later, the Vixens decided to come into the city, after the Chosen were gone." She explained.
Yeah, I heard about them, well, go on" Amy cut in.
"Well, we thought that the city would be like it was before, peaceful most of the time, tribes getting on with each other, well, most of them. But a while later, these creeps, the Techno's arrived, took everyone, I would have gone too, if it wasn't for him, I would have." She smiled at her sleeping son, as Paul looked on in amazement at the beautiful boy. "As far as I know, I'm alone, with a son I don't know who the father is, I haven't the slightest idea where I come from, but people call me Queenie." She told them.
"Queenie?!" Della laughed slightly.
"Something to do with my urge to always look my best, and my sense of life." Queenie shook her head, a little confused herself.
"So what's the name of this little tyke?" Amy asked, playing with the boy's fingers.
"It'll sound strange, but the one memory I have, is of a man I once knew, always looked after me, his name was Lex, and that's what I called my son." Queenie told them, and they all smiled, as Paul ran riot around the place in excitement of having a new home.

"Guys! The Stadium, now. Zoot wants us there, now!" One of the guards ordered, as the Techno's tried desperately to get through the grills, as Ebony, Ellie, Latisha, Aaliyah, and the twins, hid in the sewers.
"What about them?" One of them asked.
"Leave them, we must get back, but we'll be back." He said, and the all ran single file back to base.
"Shh!" Ebony hushed, as the babies tried to cry in tiredness.
"I think they're leaving, listen." Elli added, biting her lower lip.
"Wait here, I'll check it out." Ebony whispered, and stood by the Market door, entering the Mall.
"Be careful!" Latisha shouted through.
Ebony tip-toed to the statue of the Phoenix, which shadowed most of the grills, and front of the Mall, but everything looked as it always had, only without the Techno's. The grills were still in one peace, and shut, making it virtually impossible to get in. The car park door was still sealed, and the Caf was all tidy. So Ebony breathed a sigh of relief, and ran back to get the others.
"They're gone." Ebony told them, smiling slightly.
"What about the others?" Ellie panicked, Jack, Luke!" She cried. "They went to the Stadium, someone was being executed, one of the Mall Rats, the others went to attack." Ellie explained, and Ebony looked on in horror.
Ellie looked on in frustration, as she realized the others still hadn't returned. "Why is it that you're always the one to pull out these things alive, you're always the one turns out a hero!" Ellie snapped.
"Hey, lay off her Ellie, she's had it tough. Look, you guys may think she is some rotten bitch, but you don't know her like Piper and me did, she is our sister. And I'll tell you one thing, when I was a little kid at school, I was the one who was bullied, and I can tell you now, I've changed one hell of a lot since then, and I don't take crap from anyone, least of all chicks like you!" Latisha screamed. "And you wanna know who it was who supported me whenever I was laughed at, or pushed around in the playground, Ebony did. You see, maybe she's the way she is now because of then, she faced so many wicked people, so many bullies, but she was my hero, ever since my first day of kindergarten, until my first year in High School. What did any of us do when the virus struck?" She said, as Ellie stood in shock, at what Latisha was protesting to her. "We survived, yeah, we all did. Every single kid left on this planet survived, all of us did it in different ways. Ebony went with the Loco's, and it may not have been the choice you or I made, but it was the only way Ebony knew she could survive, so she did it. So if you're gonna blame anyone for the way things are now, blame the adults, the bullies who mocked me in school, but don't blame Ebony, she has done nothing more wrong than any of us have." Latisha completed, and slouched in a seat at the Caf, as Ebony looked on proudly at her sister, she couldn't believe how much she had changed from sweet, shy and innocent, to tough, totty and troublesome!

"Trudy, thank you so much. They were gonna kill me!" May cried, running to hug the friend who had just saved her life.
"It's okay, I could hardly sit back and let you die, could I." Trudy smiled, as May wiped back the tears that made her thick mascara run.
"Zoot helped me too, thank him." Trudy sighed, then May looked at her confused. "I know, I must sound completely absurd, but it's true. I begged him not to kill you; he said he couldn't do anything, as it was all up to Jay. Then the Mall Rats and those other guys raided the place, I tried to escape, but I was captured, the Techno's won, again." Trudy sighed.
"So, what doe Zoot have to do with all of this?" May puzzled.
"When the fighting ended, he realized that killing you, or anyone else for that matter, wasn't gonna solve their problems. And I gave Brady to him, he realized that if she had any kind of future, she had to convince Jay and Jason to calm down a little, be less chaotic." Trudy told her, smiling slightly, as she realized Zoot was turning, softer.
"Gees, was he feeling all right?" May laughed.
"Fine, I think he's finally realizing that this is no world to bring our daughter up into." Trudy smiled gently, and May smiled back.
Then the door swung open, Jason stood with two guards, one at either side of him.
"You are to come with us." Jason said, looking at May.
He signaled to one of the guards, who went and grabbed her by the arm, taking her to the door.
"Wait! No harm is to come to her, Zoot's orders!" Trudy reminded them, but they just walked of, ignoring her. "Take care." She sighed, then dumped herself onto the red, velvet couch Zoot had provided her with.

"What the hell is wrong with you guys?!" Lex shouted, as the Mall Rats paced back to the Mall.
"Lex, if we tried anything else, we would all have been captured, then there'd be no chance of freedom." Danni rolled her eyes.
"Well, we did okay I guess, we saw some of our friends." Luke sighed.
"Friend?!" Jack laughed. "You can hardly call anyone in there a friend of yours!" Jack laughed.
"Jack! We can do without that, Luke is one of us just now, okay." Amber told him.
"We better hurry back, they'll be wondering where we are." Ryan said, as they began to walk faster.
"Hide!" Rider cried, as a group of Techno's stormed round the corner, it was the same group who had been at the Mall.
"They're coming from the Mall!" Lex realized.
"Ellie!" Jack and Luke blurted out in unison, then Jack gave Luke a filthy look.
"That was close, look, I don't think they've been at the Mall, why go there?" Amber told them.
"Yeah, and they didn't have anyone with them, probably just been scouting round the city." Danni added.

Zoot entered the room, as Trudy had fell asleep, and Brady played with the toys the Techno's had provided them with. He leant down, and played with his daughter, trying not to wake Trudy.
"Zoot?" Trudy yawned, as Brady dropped her toy, wakening her.
"Ah, sorry, I, um, just came to see how you were." Zoot blurted.
"That's okay, she is your daughter after all, you're more than welcome to see her." Trudy smiled, shocking even herself at how nice she was acting towards Zoot!
"Thanks." Zoot smiled back. "And by the way, remember before, I told you I had someone to see you." Zoot reminded her, and Trudy looked at him curiously.
"One of the Mall Rats?" She puzzled.
"Sort of, I don't think it's fair to keep you from seeing this person, I will have Jason bring him along shortly." Zoot smiled, and Trudy turned her back to him, mimicking to herself, who could Zoot possibly mean?

CJ waited in his room, for the guards to bring him KC and Rikki. The door then opened, and KC and Rikki stood in disgust, looking at whom they used to call their friend.
"And to think I was gonna let you stay with the Mall Rats!" KC laughed.
"Take a seat, please." CJ gestured, as Rikki rolled her eyes, and the two preferred to remain on their feet.
"How do we know the chair won't swallow us up or something." Rikki laughed.
"Please, you underestimate us." CJ told them. "We don't go for the whole cartoon weapons, we us things like" CJ told them, reaching into his pocket for his laser. "THIS!" He laughed, as the two leaped back a step or so, as they thought CJ was gonna fire at them.
"I'm not gonna kill you, I've told Zoot I wish no harm to come to either of you. I thought maybe the three of us could all be friends, you could even join us if you liked." CJ smiled, and the two looked at each other, then KC burst out laughing.
"You really think we'd wanna join you creeps. You're even more loony than the Chosen!" He snapped, then CJ widened his eye.
"You got attitude, I like that. Attitude is what our tribe relies on." CJ told him nodding.
"Look CJ, if that even is you name, you've got more chance of snapping up a date than you have getting us on your side." Rikki told him.
"No need to take out an attitude like that!" CJ warned. "I can press my bleeper and have you removed from my presence at any second, the presence of this dammed earth even!" CJ warned, as he was getting rather frustrated by Rikki's cheeky remarks.
"Well, I'm more friendly with the all mighty Zoot than you, so she goes, I go" KC smiled. "Then you'd be back to square one, no friends, a loner, a looser even." He added, and Rikki tried not to giggle, then CJ fumed, ordering for the guards to take them away.

Trudy waited anxiously for the mystery guest, then Jason entered.
"This is a real privilege; Zoot must feel strongly for you. But I warn you now, pull any stunts, and we will waste your precious friend on the spot!" Jason warned, as Trudy stood, rubbing her hand in angst.
"Look, who are you talking about, what friend?!" She demanded, as the suspense was killing her.
Jason stood back from the door, and then the mystery man made himself known, Trudy felt her heart skip a beat in shock, as she walked to the man, and smiled, holding back the tears, as the figure rubbed Trudy's shoulder, and made himself known, it was Bray

"I couldn't sleep, not after the other day." Ellie said, as Jack entered the Caf. "So, any news from that mysterious radio signal?" Ellie enquired, the two of them had completely forgotten about that, what with the whole Techno business and all.
"Oh, yeah, I'd completely forgotten about that." Jack told her, pouring himself a drink of water.
"So, how are thing going?" Ellie asked, meaning off course, between him and Latisha.
"Things, wh what things?" Jack stuttered, as he thought the talk of himself and Latisha would upset Ellie.
"Jack, it's okay, I know you like her, every time she passes you, you go all shy, and blush like hell!" Ellie sniggered, and Jack laughed a little too. "It's okay, you and me, we were over a long time ago, I moved on, and it looks like you have too now." Ellie smiled, and reached out to take Jack's hand, but he pulled back.
"Ellie, no." he shook his head. "Like you said, we were over a long time ago." He sighed, and took his drink back to his room, where Ellie just sat, feeling hurt, and sorry for herself. "That stupid bitch, I'll make her pay, Jack and me, we could have been so good together, but oh no, she just had to come along and ruin things, well I'm sick of it, she'll get what's coming to her!" Ellie spat, and swallowed hard on her coffee, then smashed the cup to the ground, causing the others to wake up.
"What was that?!" Amber cried in fright. She came from her bed, and checked on the twins, then padded tiredly through to her room.
"Oh, sorry Amber, I didn't mean to wake you." Ellie apologized, and took the broom from the cupboard, where she swept the pieces of broken china from the floor. Amber looked at her curiously. "I'll clean it up, sorry." She said, as Amber walked closer to her.
"It's okay, it was an accident." Amber smiled, as Ellie turned to hide her face, as tears trickled down her pale, soft cheeks. "Ellie, what is it?" She asked.
"Nothing!" Ellie wept, but Amber could tell by the tone of her voice, that something had upset her.
"Hey, I can tell something's wrong, it's okay, you can tell me." Amber promised, then Ellie looked round, her eyes blood shot, full of tears.
"Everything's going wrong, when Luke left, I thought I could get back with Jack, but then Latisha came along, and now he loves her. I just made a complete fool of myself!" Ellie wept, as Jack listened from his room, upset at how saddened Ellie was, but he knew he had made the right decision.

Lacey and Piper paced around their room, they couldn't stand another day cooked up in this place.
"I am gonna go nuts in here!" Piper moaned.
"Yeah, but if you don't stop moaning I can cure that for you!" Lacey snapped, then Piper looked on confused. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean that, I am just so frustrated, I fell like a caged animal!" She snapped.
"Yeah, but if we fall out here, then they've got what they want. We gotta stay strong." Piper told her, then Jaffa entered the room.
"Again?!" Piper sighed. "Can't a girl have some privacy!" She snapped.
"Just wanted to see how you two were getting no." Jaffa smiled.
"Well, we're fine, in fact, never been better, so if you don't mind." Lacey told him, and he laughed.
"What's so funny?" Piper frowned.
"You two, saying how great you both are, but there is nothing to feel great about. Jay has plans for the two of you, and I don't think you'll be too happy to find out what." Jaffa smiled, and then left the room, Lacey ran to it, and caught it with her foot. "Run Piper!" She cried, as Piper leapt to her feet, and fled the room, the two of them locked Jaffa in, then slapped each other's wrists.
"Nice going sister!" Piper shook, then the two crept through the hallways, looking for Zoot, as Jaffa pounded the doors and walls, trying to attract attention.

"So, you've been here all this time?" Trudy asked, as she and Bray sat on the couch, as Brady sat on her uncle's knee.
"Yup, Jason ordered for me to be wasted, but as crazy as it may sound, Zoot actually saved me. He said I would be useful to them." Bray told her, as he smiled at Brady.
"It doesn't sound at all strange. They were gonna execute May, he saved her, I asked him to spare her, so he did. I think that I'm starting to get through to him. Making him realise that this is no stable environment to raise his daughter in." Trudy told him, and he looked in surprise.
"Anyway, what about Amber, how is she?" Bray asked, he hadn't seen Amber in almost two months, he didn't know if she was dead or alive.
"Still alive and kicking." Trudy laughed. "The babies are fine." She smiled, and Bray smiled proudly as he remembered the moment his two children arrived in the world. "She was a little frightened at first, kinda disowned them, but this whole Techno business made her realize how important they were. She called them Will and Ella." Trudy told him.
"I have two children, Will and Ella." Bray thought out loud, proudly to himself.
"Yeah, and they're beautiful too. And Bray, Danni's back." Trudy bit her lower lip, but knew he had a right to know.
"But she was dead?" Bray replied in confusion.
"Nope, the Chosen traded her into the Techno's as a slave for food. She's back with us now. And she and Amber are quite good friends." Trudy told him. "Patsy's back to, but there have been a few people gone from the Mall Rats." Trudy sighed.
"What do you mean?" Bray enquired.
"The Techno's raided the Mall, killed Cloe, and then when the Invasion occurred, Alice and Salene were killed." Trudy told Bray, who looked quite upset. "Zoot never wanted any of it though. I spoke to him, he said the deaths were completely unnecessary. But there are two dodgy Techno members, kinda twisted in the head, if you get what I mean. Even loonier than Zoot was." Trudy sighed, rolling her eyes.
"Must be very loony then!" Bray replied, laughing slightly.
"Pretty much!" Trudy smiled. "And you will never guess what, Ebony has two sisters!" Trudy told him with a grin, but Bray didn't look surprised in the slightest.

"You think May is okay?" Patsy worried, as the prisoners waited anxiously of news of their friend.
"She'll be fine. Trudy won't let them do anything to her." Pride told her, smiling to keep her hopes up.
"Trudy." Jet repeated. "It's kinda strange how they obeyed her orders like that." She puzzled, causing them all to stop and think a little.
"Nah, Trudy wouldn't betray us again like that,. She's changed a lot since then. Besides, she was Zoot's woman, the mother of his child, she's probably being treated so good because he still likes her." Pride suggested.
"Yeah, I mean I don't know the whole story, but Trudy seems a good enough person." Zeke added.
"KC!" Tai-San smiled. "Are you okay, did they do anything to you?" She asked concerned, then KC made eyes at her, towards Rikki. "Off course, and you, Rikki isn't it, you're okay too?" She asked, and Rikki smiled slightly.
"We're fine thanks, I am really sorry though. I tried to get you guys to let him stay in the Mall, if I did, who knows what would have happened!" KC apologized.
"You weren't to know." Tai-San told him. "Patsy, will you try and be friends with Rikki, please." She asked, and Patsy rolled her eyes.
"Whatever." Patsy sighed, and took Rikki from the group.
"Okay, so I'm guessing we should start some kind of resistance, we go along with the Techno's plans, do whatever they say, then we wait for the Mall Rats to signal the attack, and we do what we can to help." Zeke suggested.
"That's all very well, but after yesterday, I can't see the city people planning any sort of attack some time soon." Pride told them.
"Pride's right, but I agree with Zeke, we should start planning now, stay one step ahead, and when the time does eventually come, we'll be ready for it." Tai-San nodded, and the others cheered quietly amongst themselves.

Aaliyah was getting fed up being cooked up in the Mall for so long, so she decided to sneak out, after all, the Invasion was over, there wouldn't be any harm come to her. She grabbed her teddy, and put her jacket on, a red raincoat, and zipped it right up, then ran down the stairs, without anyone noticing. She got outside, and was blinded for a second by the bright lights reflecting off the building opposite. She looked left, and then right, and then looked at her teddy.
"Okay, left or right?" She asked it, and then put it to her ear.
"Left?" She smiled, as if the teddy had spoken to her. "Let's go left then."
She hugged her teddy close, and skipped merrily down the road. She saw a bunch of kids, around her age, playing hopscotch with an older girl, who looked over and spotted her.
"Hey there." She smiled, and walked over to Aaliyah, who was frightened by the stranger, and ran away. "I wasn't gonna hurt you!" The girl cried, but Aaliyah just ran right round the corner, where she went speeding right into a crowd of Chosen.
"Little girl, wanna come with us." One of them grinned evilly, and picked Aaliyah up, who started kicking and screaming, then began crying, screaming louder and louder, and but the Chosen guy's arm, who yelped, and dropped Aaliyah to the ground. She tried to run away from them, but they grabbed her again, she was petrified by this time, and she had lost her teddy, they dragged her away, carrying her over their shoulder, as she cried, staring at her teddy who disappeared into the distance, she kept kicking and screaming, but her little kicks were nothing to them.
Amy had been taking Paul to find some food, when she saw the Chosen walking towards her, then she ran into the bar Della and Queenie were hiding.
"What is it?!" Della said as Amy burst through the doors, and Paul looked extremely scared.
"Chosen,. I'm sure it's them, they've kidnapped a little girl, and they're heading this way!" Amy spat, pining for air.
"Okay, Queenie, um, can you stay here, look after Paul, I'm gonna go help this kid." Della asked, as Queenie held Lex close, and Paul hugged her leg, as he sat on the floor.
"Be careful!" She warned, as they crept outside, just as the Chosen marched by. Aaliyah was still screaming, then her face lit up when she saw Della and Amy pacing slowly towards them, Della raised her right index finger to her soft, pink lips, signalling Aaliyah to stay quiet. Amy let out a scream, attracting the Chosen's attention, causing them to chase her, as Della leapt for cover, then ran towards the one remaining Chosen who had a tight grip on Aaliyah, she punched him, and he ran away scared, so pathetic!
"Hey there, it's okay, you're safe now." Della hushed, as Aaliyah hugged her close, her face soaked in tears. "Good luck Amy!" She cried down the empty streets, as she went back to the bar, but no sign of Amy.

"No!" Latisha cried, as she found Aaliyah's bed empty. "Aaliyah's gone!" She cried through, as Jack ran to his friend.
"Um, she can't have gone far, I'll search the stalls." Jack told her, and the other Mall Rats were fast on their toes to join the search.
"I can't believe I've let her go, I should have noticed!" Latisha cried. "She could have been missing for hours!" She panicked, as Ellie looked at her, and rolled her eyes, as Latisha collapsed into her arms.
Ellie was confused, and was unsure what to do. "It, it's okay, um, we'll find her." She told her.
The Mall Rats searched their home from top to bottom, two times over, but there was no sign of Aaliyah anywhere.
"It's okay Latisha, we'll find her." Ebony told her sister, and hugged her s she cried hysterically. "Lex, go to the hotel, get my guards to search the city." Ebony told him.
"You don't have any guards left." Lex reminded her.
"Look! There are about four left, they still obey me, just do it!" Ebony snapped, and Lex was quick on his feet to get the guards.
"We can't risk going into the city, I think should leave the searching to Ebony's men." Amber told them.
"I can't, we can't, she's just a kid, what is the Techno's get her again?!" Latisha panicked.
"Look, I'm sorry, but it's agreed, Lex, along with Ebony's men, will look for her okay." Amber told her, and Latisha sniffed, nodding slightly. Ebony smiled at her sister, who was still crying, as she always thought of Aaliyah as a sister.

"Zoot." Bray nodded, as his brother entered the room.
"I hope you can find it in you to forgive myself and my tribe for keeping you captive in here so long." Zoot asked. "I never wanted any harm to come to you, you're my brother, my own flesh and blood, and Trudy made me realize how important family is." He said, making Bray smile a little.
"Yeah, Brady deserves more than what these creeps are doing to our city, Zoot realizes that." Trudy smiled.
"I want my tribe to go good; the deaths that occurred in these attacks were completely unnecessary. I said to avoid wasting people at any cost, but my two warrior leaders, Jason and Jay, they don't understand. Believe me, if there was any way, some way, of putting right these wrongs, and changing the ways things are, I would do it. But you can see the kind of position I am in, and it's not as if I haven't tried. I even once tried to get you released, Bray, but they insisted, you were a threat to us, our plans. I am truly, truly sorry." Zoot explained, quite sincere.
"I do believe you, but I'm confused, you're trying to tell us that you've completely changed your attitude, all because of your daughter." Bray puzzled, and Trudy frowned.
"Bray, he apologized, and as much as you hate to believe what he says, I do, and I think what Zoot has just told us is very brave of him." Trudy defended.
"I did expect some reaction of this sort from you, and I realize it will take you a while to except this. I thought it would have made you happy, the both of you, to see I have moved on from my power and chaos ways, and I'm doing my best to go back to the old Martin I used to be." Zoot smiled, Trudy smiled back, but Bray was finding it all too hard to take in. Zoot left the room, and Bray shook his head in disbelief. Nothing in the world could make Bray happier than to have his brother back, the way he was before the virus, but he just couldn't except that Zoot was changing so fast.

"Where are you from?" Queenie asked softly, as Aaliyah was quite shaky.
"Where are you Amy!" Della worried, as she peeked out of the window, waiting anxiously for her sister.
"My teddy." Aaliyah cried.
"She talked!" Paul blurted.
"What's your name?" Queenie asked, as Aaliyah sat on her knee, looking at baby Lex.
"Is that a baby?" Aaliyah asked, and jumped to the floor, walking over to it.
"Uh huh, that's my little baby boy, wanna see." Queenie smiled, and Aaliyah nodded happily, as Queenie lifted Lex from the basket, and Aaliyah stroked his head.
"What's his name?" Aaliyah asked shyly.
"Tell you what, you tell me your name, and I'll tell you his." Queenie smiled, and Aaliyah wondered whether or not to trust her.
"Aaliyah." She whispered.
"Well, hello Aaliyah, this is Lex." Queenie smiled.
"Amy!" Della sighed, as her sister came bursting through the door.
"Boy, they chased me all over the city! I think I know my way around now!" She laughed. "It's not safe here, we're to near these loonies, the techies or whatever they're called, we have to go." Amy told them.
"Where?" Della wondered.
"Come with me, to the Mall." Aaliyah suggested.
"Is that your home?" Dell asked.
"Yeah, the Mall Rats, I'm one of them. They're really nice people." Aaliyah smiled, still focused on baby Lex, who was so sweet with jet-black hair, and a beautiful tan.
"You're kidding!" Della laughed, her eyes sparkling.
"Come on, I'll take you there. When I tell them you saved my life, I'm sure they'll let you stay." Aaliyah smiled, and ran to take Della's hand. "This way!" She cried, and the three of them followed Aaliyah through the streets, back to the Mall.

"How could I have been so stupid, she is just a kid!" Latisha cried.
"It's not your fault." Ellie comforted her, and gave her a mug of coffee. Ellie felt stupid sitting with Latisha like this, she hated her, but she did feel sorry for her.
"Lex has got the guards out looking. Aaliyah will be back here in no time." Jack smiled, as Ellie rolled her eyes.
"She can't have gone far, we'll find her." Luke encouraged them, but Latisha just sat, blaming herself, in self-pity.
"I hope so." Latisha sighed. "If we never see her again, I will never forgive myself!" She cried.
"Don't beat yourself up about it, she's a strong kid. She'll find her way back, you'll see. She'll come running up those stairs anytime soon." Rider rubbed her shoulder, and Latisha touched his hand, Jack looked irritated, and Ellie smirked.
"Thanks." Latisha sighed, but she didn't believe them, she knew the Techno's probably had her by now.
"Not again!" Amber sighed, as the twins began crying again. "I just got them back to sleep an hour ago!" She moaned, and went to see to them.
"I'll make some dinner, shall I." Ryan suggested.
"Please." Ebony smiled. "I'll help you." She offered, and Ryan looked surprised.
"Um, okay." He agreed, and the two went to the kitchen, to prepare some vegetables.
Latisha then burst into tears, Rider hugged her, as Jack sat jealously, cursing at him to himself.
"Want a hug Jack?" Ellie smirked.
"Get a grip Ellie!" Jack snapped, and stormed from his seat.
"Was it something I said?" Ellie grinned, and Luke looked observably at her.
"You okay?" He asked.
"Why shouldn't I be?" Ellie rolled her eyes.
"That should do them, just needed a nappy change." Amber laughed, and walked over to the stairs, to lift her mug from the table she had been sitting at, then looked at the statue, then dropped her mug, it went smashing to the ground, Amber stood mouth open like a fish.

Zoot had called a meeting, between himself and the warrior leaders, Jason, Jay and Jaffa.
"Okay, I have my woman, Trudy, on our side, with my beautiful baby daughter to care for. She will be among the first to be raised in out Techno world. But I must say, I do not think that all of this killing, and torturing is very appropriate. We don't want to scare the city people." Zoot told them, and by the look on each of their faces, they didn't agree. "We need the city people on our side, to make things easier. If we fill their minds with fear, they will never trust us, and if they do, it will be because of that fear eating way at them on the inside. We can't do this. Please, think about what I am saying." Zoot told them.
"Power and Chaos, remember, I thought that was the way you done things. What's making you change so much?" Jay enquired.
"Yeah, we're not some small time tribe, we are not a bunch of do-gooders like those pesky Rats!" Jason argued.
"Mall Rats." Zoot corrected.
"Whatever." Jason sighed.
"If you never wanted any of this, why put us through the whole Chosen saga?!" Jaffa puzzled.
"To win them over, which we almost did, the executions were not part of the plan, that was you." Zoot reminded him. "All I wanted was control of the city, not this anarchy. At least not day after day." He said, making the others frown. "That's all for now. Carry on training the prisoners, and take strays from the street, we need as much people on our side as possible. But please, try not to loose your tempers." Zoot told them, they stood from their seats, and left the room, Jason slammed the door behind him, leaving Zoot taking deep breaths, wondering if he had done the right thing or not.

"You are advancing fast, I am pleased with the progression you are making. However, there are three of you, who I feel, aren't pulling their weight around this place. When I call your name, step forward." Jason told them, and they looked at each other puzzled. "KC." Jason read the first name, KC stepped forward. "Jet." And Jet paced slowly forward. "And Zeke." Then Zeke walked nervously inline with the other two.
"What are you doing with them?" Pride demanded.
"It's been reported that they have been slacking; they will be taken to an area away from the Stadium, where they will be disciplined to work well and punctual. Take them." Jason ordered his guards, as the three walked away worried.
"You can't so that!" Patsy argued.
"Patsy, no." Pride shook his head. "Don't cause any trouble." He told her, and she just turned away.
"Where are they going? When will they be back?" Pride demanded.
"Questions given to us from Rats are to be answered only if we feel appropriate. Your friends will be going to a compound in the Mountains, they may return at some point, depending on their work and behavior." Jason smiled.
"What about May!" Patsy enquired, as Jason walked away.
"She will be returned to you soon." Jason nodded, and then left them.
"They're picking us off, one by one." Rikki realized. "First May, then those guys." She sighed.
"Well, we have to stuck together, be stronger than ever." Pride sighed. "You may not be one of us Rikki, but like Patsy and I, we're alone, so as far as I'm concerned, we are each others family right now. Okay." Pride smiled, and Patsy shook her head, watching Zeke, KC and Jet be bundled into a van, and taken from the Stadium, would they ever see them again?

"Amber, what is it?" Danni asked, running to her side.
"Aaliyah!" Danni cried, as she saw Aaliyah at the foot of the stairs, with Della, Amy, Queenie, Paul and Lex.
"What?!" Latisha choked, then she ran down and hugged her sister (well, not biological, but it felt like they were). "You're safe!" She cried, and hugged her close.
"This is Della, she saved me, and they did too. That's Amy, Paul, and Queenie." Aaliyah introduced her friends.
"No." Amber shook her head.
"Queenie?!" Ebony laughed slightly. "Am I seeing a ghost?" She asked herself.
"You're not Ebony, Zandra?" Amber puzzled.
"No, none of them are called Zandra." Aaliyah giggled.
"Yeah, that's Zandra." Amber pointed in shock, her finger aiming straight for Queenie, and she was right, Queenie looked identical to Zandra.
"This place." Queenie said, slowly, as if she was short of breath. "I know this place." She looked round, a drowsy look on her face, Amy grabbed baby Lex, as Queenie fell to the ground.
"She's fainted, help me get her up stairs." Ebony said, lifting Queenie up, Luke helping her.
"I'll get some water." Rider offered.
Danni and Ebony placed Queenie on Patsy's bed, waiting for her to come round.
"I'm sorry, I think there's been some sort of mix up, this girl is called Queenie." Della told them.
"Have I missed something here?" Jack pondered. "Forgive me if I'm wrong, but four strangers have just waltzed into our Mall, and none of you even question that?" He told the others.
"They rescued me, the Chosen kidnapped me, but they saved me." Aaliyah told them.
"Ch Chosen?!" Ellie panicked. "It can't be, they're at Hope Island, they wouldn't dare come back!" She blurted.
"No." Luke shook his head.
"What? Luke, what is it?" Ryan demanded.
"The Chosen, they were coming to the city after the Invasion, join forces with the Techno's, they must be here already." He realized, and the others froze, a deadly silence flooded the Mall. The Techno's and the Chosen together, how could the city have any chance of defeating them now?

"Is it true you have taken three of the Mall Rats away!" Trudy screamed as Jay and Jason entered.
"Yo, chill sugar, none of this was intentional, as your little sugar daddy Zoot said." Jay grinned.
"I am not your sugar!" Trudy warned. "Who have you got rid of!" She demanded.
"That would be telling." Jason replied, as the two walked further in, Trudy edged back, then fell onto the chair.
"You see, our beloved leader Zoot seems to be telling you a lot of things lately. And the way we see it, you're a Rat, and you've been poisoning his mind." Jay told her.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Trudy swallowed hard. Jay and Jason looked at each other, then sat at either side of Trudy.
"There was a time Zoot couldn't care less about his darling daughter, he wanted Power and Chaos, and that was all that mattered to him. This Invasion was to be our greatest victory. Then he ordered for you and that stupid brat of a child to be taken for him. We thought he'd lock you away, take his daughter, and you would be forgotten. It seems we were mistaken." Jay told him.
"Yeah, because now, well, you've done not too bad for yourself. This cozy room all to yourself. Your own maid, proper food." Jason shook his head. "And we, Jay and myself, think that it's absolutely ridiculous that a Rat be treated in this way." He told her, his face right against her ear.
"If that's supposed to be some sort of a threat, then it isn't working. Now if you don't mind, Brady is need of a feed, so, goodbye." Trudy told them,. And went to open the door, but Jay stood up, and slammed it shut. Trudy tried to scream, but Jason suffocated her, his hand tightly wrapped around her mouth.
"Now, I'll let you go, but no screaming." He warned, Trudy nodded petrified.
"Okay, well, this is what we want. You, tell Zoot that you hate his idea of being a Techno, and you wanna go back to your people." Jay told her.
"I can't, he'll keep Brady." Trudy stuttered, tears filling up in her eyes.
"Well, that's a risk you'll have to take, say goodbye to your daughter, or your life." Jason told her, and moved closer to her. "You've got such a pretty little face, I don't think Zoot would like to see it all, how can I put it, smashed up." He told her, shouting at the last two words.
"Okay, okay. I'll tell Zoot I don't wanna be here anymore." Trudy agreed, sweat pouring from her forehead.
"Good girl. Now, I think that's all we wanted to see you about." Jason smiled, then noticed Brady. "Oh, you said she needed a feed. Why don't I do it for you? Trudy shook her head in fear, and ran for her daughter, put Jay held her back. "It's okay, I'm not gonna hurt her." Jason smiled; as he spooned Brady some mashed potato. "That a girl." He smiled, as Brady ate the food peacefully, happily. "You see, she'll be quite happy with us. Come on Jay." He said, turning the doorknob.
Jay looked at Trudy, then turned to Jason. "I'll be with you in a minute." He grinned, and Trudy panicked, as Jason left the door, and Jay locked it behind him.
"No!" Trudy screamed, but there was no one around to hear her screams, Brady started crying, and blocked out the sounds of Trudy's screams, as Jay pushed her onto the bed, and kissed her.

"You hear that." Piper said, pressing her ear to the door.
"Just Brady crying." Lacey said, as she fastened the laces to her Rockport boots.
"No, listen." Piper frowned. "Sounds like screaming." Lacey looked at her, then walked to the door, locking through the keyhole.
"I can't see anything, the only person down here is Trud" Lacey said.
"Trudy!" Piper realized. "You don't think Zoot would do anything to hurt her do you?" She puzzled, biting her lower lip.
"No, you're thinking of Jay, and I can't see what he would want with Trudy, when he likes me." Lacey realized.
"Yeah, but you said yourself, Jay can't get pretty crazy at times." Piper worried. "Trudy!" She cried, trying to figure out what all the screaming was about, then Lacey began shouting too.
"Shh!" Piper said, as the door creaked open.
"What is it?" Lacey asked.
"I can't see, the keyhole's to small, someone's coming!" Piper told her, and the two jumped onto the bed, as Jay opened the door, a smug look on his face.
"Good news, the wedding's back on." He smiled through the peephole, and Lacey looked on shocked, trying not to loose her temper.
"Asshole!" Piper screamed, as Jay laughed smugly, and carried on down the hallway, then Zoot came.
"He giving you trouble?" Zoot asked, unlocking the door.
"Zoot! He said that he is marrying Lacey again, is this true?!" Piper demanded.
"No." Lacey said repeatedly, she couldn't bear to be married to that monster.
"First I've heard of it, oh, excuse me, I think Brady's in need of her daddy." Zoot smiled, then locked the door, and went to see Trudy, he opened the door, and saw Trudy curled up in the corner, her gown ripped, and her face covered in make-up blotches, her skin soaked in tears. She closed her eyes, and looked away from Zoot. Jay had raped her.

"You mean that Queenie, is actually called Zandra, and she used to be a Mall Rat, then died, and now she's came back to life?" Amy puzzled, trying not to laugh.
"That is Zandra!" Amber snapped.
"Okay, okay, sorry. So how is she alive, and with a baby?!" Amy puzzled.
"Lex." Ryan said. "The baby, it's Lex's son. Zandra was pregnant on Eagle Mountain, no one else knew, that baby must belong to Lex!" Ryan realized, and the others looked at one-an-other, confused and shocked.
"Wait a minute." Della realized, biting her lower lip. "Queenie, or Zandra, whatever her name is. When we first met her, she said something about another tribe, called the Vixens I think, finding her on a mountain. But she couldn't remember who she was, or where she had came from. Then she had a baby, she never even knew she was pregnant. You mentioned that guys name, Lex right." Della explained, Ryan nodded. "Well, she called her baby Lex. She said it was the one memory she had, of a man called Lex who always looked out for her, but that was it." Della told them.
"That explains it then. Zandra has memory loss, which is why she never came back here. She must have been trapped on Eagle Mountain, or something like that. No one found the body, as they didn't me, that must be how she survived." Amber suggested.
"She's coming round!" Latisha cried. The Mall Rats leapt to their feet, and went to see Queenie/Zandra, who was twitching slightly, but couldn't open her eyes.
Lex came jogging up the stairs, and looked at Della. "Who are you?" He enquired.
"Who are you?" Della asked back.
"Lex!" Rider blurted out, causing the other Mall Rats to look round, and Lex crept towards them, to see what they were looking at.
"Zandra?" He choked, and Ryan looked at him, nodding, Lex fell to his knees, by the bed in which Zandra lay, then he held her hand, and Zandra came round.

"Guys!" May cried, as she ran from the guards who had escorted her from the cell0like place she was being help prisoner.
"May!" Patsy cried, and ran to hug her friend.
"Where's the others?" She puzzled, as she noticed Jet, KC and Zeke gone.
"The Techno's took them. Said they weren't working hard enough." Tai-San sighed.
"Where were you anyway?" Patsy asked, as Tai-San had been gone for some time.
"Oh, they wanted me to tell them all my spiritual stiff, like, my antidote for the virus, things like that. I didn't say anything though." Tai-San told them.
"Pride." May smiled, as she walked over to Pride.
"Hey, um, are you okay, they didn't do anything to you." Pride asked, May shook her head.
"Apart from trying to hang me from a metal pole for stealing food, I'm okay." She smiled, laughing slightly.
"Well, they're trying to split us up, so we'll co operate easier. But if they think by taking us away, one by one, they'll succeed, they've got another ting coming." Pride encouraged them, and they all cheered "Yeah" in chorus.
"Yeah, Pride's right. These creeps may have control of the city, but they will never take our tribe from us." Tai-San smiled, then the guards signalled them to get back into line for their next stages of training.

"Zandra! It's me, Lex." Lex shook his wife a little, as she muttered some words, and finally came round.
"The smoke! It's gonna kill me, my baby! No!" Zandra cried, and jumped into a sitting position on her bed. She must have been getting her memory back slightly, as it sounded like she was referring back to Eagle Mountain.
"Zandra, do you remember us?" Amber asked quietly.
"It's Amber, Jack, and Ebony." Ebony smiled, but Zandra just frowned.
"You left me!" Zandra realized. "I was trapped beneath the rubble of Eagle Mountain, and you all left me!" Zandra cried.
"We're sorry, we thought you were dead, we couldn't find you anywhere." Jack apologized.
"We never meant to leave you." Ebony told her.
"What is she doing here?!" Zandra jumped, as the last time she saw the Mall Rats, they were sworn enemies with Ebony!
"It's a long story!" Ryan laughed.
"Ryan!" Zandra smiled. Ryan was like a brother to her, he used to have a thing for Zandra, but that ended a long time ago.
"My baby, where's my baby?" Zandra panicked.
"Baby?" Lex choked.
"I'm sorry; I've just got my memory back, after all this time, just over a year. I'm still a little confused myself." Zandra cried happily, then Amy gave Lex to her. "This is Lex Junior, our son." Zandra smiled, and Lex's eyes filled with tears, he was a father, Lex had a son, the son he always wanted.

"Bastard!" Zoot cursed, and lounged a punch right in the center of Jay's nose.
"What the hell?!" Jay blurted out, and held his nose, as blood came spouting out.
"I know what you did to her! You sick twisted little creep!" Zoot shouted, pushing Jay roughly against the wall.
"I dunno what you're talking about!" Jay argued.
"Trudy!" Zoot scream din his ear. "You raped her!" He said, head-butting his forehead. Jay kicked Zoot, causing him to fall to the floor, then started kicking him in the stomach. Zoot did a backwards roll, and got straight back on his feet. He got him in a headlock, and rubbed into his head with his fists, then smacked him into the corner of the room.
"You get some pleasure out of it did you?!" Zoot screamed, rapidly loosing his temper.
"Yeah, okay, she was good, I mean she gave me nothing in return, but yeah, it was the best I had had in a long time!" Jay shouted back, grinning smugly, then Zoot punched his jaw. Then Jay rammed Zoot into the door, as he yelped in pain at the stabbing feeling of the handle digging roughly into his back.
"Might give it another go sometime. And I'll pay for the dress if she wants." Jay said, continuing to wind him up.
"You lay one finger on her again, I swear I'll kill you!" Zoot warned, then Jason burst into the room, and separated the two, with the help of three guards.
"He raped Trudy!" Zoot told them. "He raped my woman!" He said.
"Is this true?" Jason enquired, a puzzling look on his face. Jason knew Jay had waited behind after their little chat with Trudy, but raping her was something he did not expect!
"Does it matter if it is or not. You saw what happened just now, your so called leader tried to have me killed, me, his one loyal follower!" Jay laughed. "He is not fit to be leader of this tribe, let alone the whole city!" Jay told them breathlessly.
"Take him to the cells!" Jason ordered, then Zoot was dragged away by the three guards, while Jason stood, shaking his head in disgrace at Jay.

Trudy had been left alone in her room, Brady was crying, but she didn't have the energy to get up and see to her. She was terrified that if she moved an inch, Jay would come back for her, then Bray entered.
"Trudy?!" He cried. "Are you okay, Zoo told me what happened." Bray choked, and ran to hold her.
"Just hold me, Bray, hold me." Trudy cried, her chin on his shoulder, tears still pouring down her like a waterfall.
"Where's Martin? Where is Zoot?" Bray enquired.
"He went to get Jay, I told him to leave it, but he wouldn't. I'm scared Bray, what if he comes back." Trudy sniffed, then Bray lifted her to her feet.
"Listen to me, I need you to listen, very carefully, okay?" Bray told her, and Trudy nodded. "Take Brady, get the other Mall Rats. I'm gonna look for Zoot, we have to deal with these losers." Bray told her." Trudy nodded, and Bray took Brady, and gave her to her mother. Trudy looked on scared, and Bray accompanied her to the stairs, where she ran up to ground level, as Bray searched for his brother.

"Guys! Chaos in the Stadium again, they're fighting amongst themselves now!" Billy Boy told the other leaders, as they were holding a secret meeting to discuss the revolt.
"Maybe we won't have to attack anymore." Moz smirked. The others looked curiously. "Well, think about it, the Chosen started fighting amongst each other, then they eventually split. Maybe these guys will go the same way." She suggested, then Dee blurted out laughing.
"Don't hold your breath, these guys are serious, they're pretty strong, and the amount of prisoners they have training to be part of them clearly shows they'll have twice as many people in their tribe than we do in the entire city!" She laughed.
"And if that's true Dee, I wouldn't be laughing." Drazic rolled his eyes. Considering he was the Demon Dogz leader, he was taking this whole thing quite seriously, no petty squabbling. "Even is Moz is right, and these guys to start to break up, we can't just sit back and let it happen. Every one of them involved in the Invasion will pay for what they did to our city." He told them sternly, and they each nodded in agreement.
"I second that, I want a piece of those creeps, and I'll be first to get my hands on that weirdo, what's his name?" Billy Boy puzzled.
"Jason and Jay." Fisheye told him. Billy Boy nodded. "Yeah, and don't forget our old friend Zoot." He grinned cunningly, the others smiled sarcastically.
"So, what about the Mall Rats, Amber and Danni, Lex even, they in on this?" Moz enquired.
"I don't think we should tell them about this. Not yet anyway. Off course when the times comes for the revolt, they'll be in on it." Drazic answered. "Agreed?" He asked them all. They all nodded in agreement, and carried on with their plans.
"So, us, the Mozzies, we'll line up at the front entrance, wait for them to open the doors." Becca checked.
"Yes, they've met with a lot of you before, and they know you Dee. I think it will confuse them slightly, they won't suspect you guys of an attack, they'll be thinking you guys are terrified of them." Fisheye laughed.
"Okay, Mozzies first, then who?" Billy Boy enquired.
"Us!" Robyn blurted, she was leader of the Falcon's, a new tribe in town, but they had been around since the Techno's arrived, and felt they had to do their bit to help out. "I know we haven't been here very long, but if we're gonna be staying here, I think we should. Please." Robyn asked, and the others agreed.
"Okay, then behind them, the Jackels, then Demon Dogz, and the Roosters last, with the smaller tribes, and loners shuffled between." Drazic told them all.
"I'll spread it round." Moz told them.
"Yeah, we all will, meet back here same time tomorrow, give me the feedback from the other city kids. Okay?" Drazic told them, they nodded, and ran away, so as not to attract any attention.

The Mall Rats had decided to leave Lex and Zandra alone, to discuss what had happened, and their son.
"I am sorry, if I knew you were alive, we'd never had left. We thought Amber was dead too, she came back." Lex smiled.
"It's okay, I'm back now, and my memory is too, I think that's all that matters isn't it?" Zandra smiled.
"So, he's really ours?" Lex choked, smiling proudly at his son.
"Yup, your and mines, Lex Junior." Zandra smiled, and touched Lex's cheek. "You can cry you know, it won't bother me." She smiled, but Lex was desperate to stay strong. "Lex, who did you marry?" Zandra asked, and Lex felt a rush of fear swallow him up.
"You off course!" He quickly replied, but then Zandra lifted up his hand, and touched his wedding ring Tai-San gave him.
"I never gave you that ring." Zandra looked at him sternly, forcing Lex to tell her the truth.
"Look, I admit, I got married again, but if I knew you were alive, I would never have done it." Lex told her, and she shook her head.
"It's okay, I don't, mind, you thought I was dead, you couldn't stay grieving after me forever could you." She smiled. "So, was it someone I know?" She asked, then Lex felt himself freeze. How could he tell her that he married the one person Zandra hated most in the world, Tai-San. "Well?" She asked, getting anxious, then Baby Lex began crying, and Zandra realized it was time for a feed. Lex breathed a sigh of relief, but knew he would eventually have top tell her the truth.

"You think everything's going okay in there?" Ellie wondered.
"Well, by the sound of things, Lex hasn't told her about Tai-San yet." Amber sighed, then Latisha frowned.
"Yeah, but she must realize Lex had to meet someone new at some point." She enquired.
"Yeah, she probably does, but before Zandra died, well, before Eagle Mountain anyway, Zandra and Tai-San, they hated each other. Lex even slept with Tai-San when he was seeing Zandra, that just added the final chip to the cookie!" Ryan told her.
"Okay, well, it's been nice meeting you all, give our love to Zandra and the kid, we'll see you around." Della said, and shook hands with Danni, then Amber.
"Wait, you can't leave, not just like that!" Ebony protested.
"Can't we?" Amy puzzled.
"Ebony's right, you brought one of our friends back, we owe you. Stay, at least for the night, full fry up in the morning?" Danni smiled.
"Well, if it's really okay with you all." Della smiled, as it finally clicked, she might have a tribe after all.
"Okay, Jack, Latisha, show them round the place. And we'll look after your" Amber said, Della cut her sentence short.
"Brother, he's our brother. Paul. Don't be shy, these are our friends, see." Della smiled, and the others smiled back, trying not to scare him. Amber held her hand out, and Paul took it, slowly.
"Okay, now we've got rid of them, I've been thinking." Ebony told them, and they all looked at each other curiously. "It's about time we took control of the city again, like it was before the Chosen. We lead the resistance, and then maybe we'll be getting our friends back sooner than we think." Ebony suggested, the others looked intrigued.
"What you're saying is a good idea, but I doubt it'd work. The whole city want a piece of those guys." Luke told her.
"Yeah, they're probably already a revolt of their own, behind our backs, not letting us in on their little scams." Rider added.
"Okay, well, if that's true, we have to start planning now. With Zandra back, we're a tribe again, and we have to get the others back." Amber nodded.
"I agree, those guys are our friends in there, we can't let them stay imprisoned in the Stadium for the rest of their lives." Ryan added, and the all nodded in agreement and discussed plans of a revolt, little did they know, the revenge attack would be happening sooner than they thought.

"What the hell is going on up there?" Pride enquired, as the Techno's began running wild, then Trudy appeared.
"Trudy!" May cried. "What's happened?" She enquired.
"Zoot's gone, they took him." Trudy cried, collapsing, Rikki grabbed Brady and held her.
"Zoot, that's why you're crying?" Pride puzzled.
"He raped me, Jay raped me." Trudy joked, and May held her.
"Okay, okay. Start from the beginning." Tai-San told her.
"I was in my room, Jason and Jay came to see me, then Jason left, Jay raped me." She cried, struggling to talk. "Then Bray found me." She told them.
"Bray?!" Patsy cried, her eyes lit up. They had no idea Bray was still alive.
"He's alive." Trudy told them, smiling a little. "He went to find Zoot, Jay and Jason are planning on taking the Techno's over, they'll kill Zoot, get rid of me. They only want the younger ones, Brady, Patsy, KC." Trudy told them, still crying in fear. "So they will be raised as one of them. They'll wipe out the whole city if they have to, and then they will rule, supreme." Trudy cried, and felt too tired to go on.
"Okay, stay here, I'm going to find Bray." Pride told them.
"I'm coming too!" Tai-San told him. "May, Patsy, Rikki, stay here, look after Trudy and Brady, we won't be long.
"Where're the others, Zeke and KC?" Trudy puzzled, as she noticed there was only five of them left. "And Jet?" She enquired.
"The Techno's took Zeke, KC and Jet to the hills, something about them not putting in enough effort." Patsy told her.
"Well, I have good news." Rikki told them. "I can't tell you how I know. But someone here told me the city leaders are building a resistance, and there's to be a revolt sometime soon." Rikki smiled.
"I wouldn't hold your breath kid, if Jay and Jason get into power, we can kiss goodbye to ever seeing the city again." May sighed, and the four of them sat, not a hope in the world. And waited to be rescued, but they knew the chance of that happening were very slim.

"What is this?!" Piper demanded, as three Techno guards violently dragged her, and Lacey, from their room, and to jay's headquarters.
"What do you want now?" Lacey moaned.
"I thought you'd like to know. Zoot is no longer the leader of the Techno's." Jay smiled, and Piper and Lacey shot worried looks at one an other.
"What do you mean, then who is?" Lacey puzzled.
"Jason." Jay smiled, and looked at Jay, who was standing to the left of him.
Piper burst out in a fit of laughter.
"Something funny?" Jason asked sternly.
"Yeah, you as a leader!" Lacey blurted.
"Well, I'm not leading on my own. Jay will be helping." Jason smirked, then Piper and Lacey froze, they felt as if they were about to faint!
"What have you done with Zoot?" Piper demanded.
"Zoot is being dealt with. I just thought you would like to know, Lacey is to be my bride, and you, Jason's." Jay smiled, and the two choked in horror, as the feeling of barf stuck in their throat smuggled them.
"You guys really don't have a good sense of humor, you know that." Piper told them, trying to act as if she took it as a joke, but she knew they were deadly serious.
"Yeah, you have so cheesy chat up lines!" Lacey shook her head.
"Well, make those snappy remarks all you want, but the weddings will be a week tomorrow. You can have who ever you want as bridesmaid, but no one from the outside. I'll have someone fit you for dresses." Jay smiled, then the guards took them away, as they struggled to release the tight grip they had on their arms, digging painfully into their tense muscles.

"Martin!" Bray cried, as he spotted Zoot sitting in one of the farthest away rooms, alone, and cold. "It's me, Bray I'll get you out of here." He whispered, and looked for something he could use to pick the lock with, and then he reached into his pocket, and found his old set of keys he had once given to Amber. He took his bicycle key, and bent it so there was a sharp jagged bit sticking up at the top. He stuck it into the lock, and fidgeted around, until it clicked against the small lock mechanism, that triggered the door to open. He twiddled it round a little, then it snapped, but luckily, the door had already opened, and Bray stepped into the room.
"Bray!" Zoot said, pleased to see his brother. "Where are Trudy and the kid?" He enquired.
"I've sent them outside, Trudy went to the Mall Rat prisoners, Jay and Jason have taken the whole tribe over. They want you wasted, but I think they'll give you some time." Bray told him, and scraped his penknife against the thick ropes tied around his brothers' wrists, against a rust water piper, which was hanging him tiredly against the ceiling.
"Okay, so what happens with us?" Zoot enquired.
"Trudy said something about them only wanting the youngest of the city dwellers. Because they're easier to win over, and they don't have time to waste on the older kids. So I think they're gonna invade the whole city, again, take everyone last person prisoner, use the older kids as slaves, maybe waste some of them, and use the younger ones to become part of them." Bray explained.
"Okay, well, I know somewhere we can hide out, until they make a move. So we can get outta here safe. Then gather support from the city, go ahead with the Invasion, only it won't be the Techno's invading this time, it'll be the city people." Zoot smiled, then the two crept down the corridors, to an abandoned storage room, where Zoot opened a secret doorway, leading to a lower basement, which looked like no one had been in for years! The two sat down, and discussed a plan to help Bray's friends, and escape the Techno's, then destroy them.

The Techno's had gathered in front of the Stadium Platform, where Jay and Jason stood, Piper and Lacey sat on chairs, tied to them, but no one else could see the ropes.
"There will be a few changes made here. Starting with the leader status. Zoot may well have led you through he previous year, but it has all got too much for him, and he was beginning to go soft. Your new leaders will be myself, and my good friend Jason here." Jay smiled, and the Techno's cheered and clapped, although most of them didn't agree with this, they didn't dare argue.
The prisoners were viewing from a distance, struggling to see over the heads of the Techno's that were stood in front of them. Probably doing it purposely to annoy them.
"What is going on?" One of the prisoners asked. They all began whispering, and then Jay made a huge noise, like an explosion, which caused them all to shut up. No one knew what caused it, but they were scared enough not to talk again!
"We are aware Zoot's woman, Trudy, and their daughter, Brady is amongst the Mall Rat prisoners, and we order the two to come forward now, or the prisoners die." Jaffa told them. He had been made second in command, one level below the two leaders, Jason and Jay.
Tai-San and Pride snuck into the crowds, they had no luck in finding Bray or Zoot, as the two were in hiding, where no one would find them. Trudy looked at her friends, then realized she had to give herself up. They tried not to let her go, but two guards grabbed her, and took Brady, escorted her to the platform.
"Never give up hope! These guys may have got control of the city, but the Mall Rats, the other tribes, they'll free us all, they'll take these guys out! Never give up hope!" Trudy screamed, then she was dragged away.
"No!" Pride cried, then the others looked at him. "You can't do that. She hasn't done anything wrong! Let her stay up here, with us!" Pride demanded, but the Techno's laughed.
"You are nothing but a slave now, we don't have time to listen to you!" Jason told him, and they continued laughing. The speeches and plans went on for hours, then night fell, and the city was silent again.

"What's wrong with you?" Ellie asked, as she walked into Jack's room, and found him awake.
"Couldn't sleep. I'm trying to get a radio signal, but I think the Techno's have drained all of our power sources for themselves." Jack sighed.
"Heard anything from that girl?" Ellie asked, making conversation. She sat on Jack's rugged chair, while he crouched down, fiddling with the gadgets on his worktop.
"Not a thing." Jack sighed, and replaced the batteries in the radio, but still no luck. He then violently through it onto the ground, where it smashed into pieces.
"Jack!" Ellie tutted, and picked it up. "I think we could fix this." She smiled, Jack just growled.
"Never mind that, so, what's up with you. What are you doing up?" He asked, and turned to face her.
"It's been almost four months since these guys arrived now. They've had our friends for three weeks now. What do you think is happening to them?" Ellie frowned in worry.
"Well, I'm sure they'll be fine." Jack assured her.
"These new guys, what do you think?" Ellie puzzled.
"What do you mean?" Jack puzzled.
"Don't you think it's a bit coincidental these guys just happen to arrive just after we finally get rid of the Chosen. They take the city people prisoners, like the Chosen did, and they've killed people, which the Chosen also did." Ellie told him, and Jack looked curiously, maybe Ellie had a point. "Then those new guys. Della and her siblings, they arrive out of nowhere. They say they're new in the city, and it just so happens Aaliyah runs out on her own, the very day we discover the Chosen are back. Then that Zandra kid, she's back from the dead, just like what happened to Amber. This is all just to weird." Ellie sighed, and Jack frowned.
"What are you saying? That Della, and Zandra even, they're all spying for the Techno's. And the Chosen, they're with the Techno's?!" Jack spat, laughing slightly. "I'm sorry Ellie, it's all to big a coincident to me. I'm going to bed. Night." Jack told her, kissed her softly on the cheek, and headed for his bed, and Ellie just thumped onto the chair, and dropped her head into her hands, falling asleep on Jack's table.

"Guys, I've managed to get one of the Techno's to spy for us. He guards Jay's room, goes out every so often, to get food, and check up on the city kids." Pride whispered.
"Well, can we trust him?" Tai-San frowned.
"Right now, he's all we've got. His name's Zac, he's about KC's age. He said he can get a message to the Mall Rats for us." Pride whispered, then Jaffa and Jason approached.
"Silence!" Jason ordered, and the prisoners quickly snapped into line. "You may have heard rumors that we are going to be wasting you all. However, we have thought things over, and children under the age of fifteen will be taken and trained as Techno warriors, along with any of the older kids willing to, but the remainders of you who don't wish for this will be imprisoned here as our slaves, for the most of the rest of your lives." Jason smiled, and Patsy looked at Rikki, and they both swallowed hard.
"Pride, we could pass for sixteen-year-olds couldn't we?" Patsy panicked.
"It's okay Patsy, we only like them take you, or you Rikki." Tai-San told her, and looked worriedly at Pride.
Jaffa whispered into Jason's ear, and the crowd looked curiously.
"Okay, scrap that, the age of Techno recruits will be fourteen, not fifteen." Jason told them nodding, and then everyone burst out in conversation.
"It's okay Patsy, you and Rikki, you'll pass for fifteen, they don't know you, so why would they assume otherwise." Tai-San assured them, trying to think positive.
"You!" One of the guards said, pointing to three youngsters, only about six, clinging helplessly onto each other, siblings it looked like, were grabbed, and thrown over the solders of the Techno's, and they were taken from the crowds, kicking and screaming with fear. Then three mothers, one with a son, about three years old, fell to the ground in floods of tears as her child was torn from her, and the other two, whom their babies were just new born, faced the same thing, as the Techno's took their children from them, as they had not a care in the world. One little girl, about twelve, ran to hide in the unused toilets, but was snatched unexpectedly, and herded from the stadium. The older kids looked on in horror, at the terror, which was unfolding right in front of their very eyes.
Pride swallowed hard, and wanted to spit right in the face of one of the guards who walked by him, carrying an innocent, defenseless baby in his arms, but he realized, if he did that, he'd be no better than them.
"You two, how old are you?!" One of them demanded, as he walked towards Patsy and Rikki, who tried not to look scared, or as if they were about to lie. The Techno has a young boy within his grip, seven, maybe eight, who was crying, looking around him for someone he knew, but there was no one, he was alone.
"They're my little sisters, twins." Pride blurted.
"Yeah, it's true." Tai-San jumped to his side, and the Techno looked at them both, with an enquiring eye.
"And you are?" He asked Tai-San, frowning slightly.
"I'm his, um, wife." Tai-San spat, and Pride coughed, scratching, his cheek, trying not to smirk.
"Yeah, it's true, I married them." May smiled, and Tai-San widened her eyes in shock.
"Yeah, and these girls, turned fifteen three months ago, Mall rats they are. Can't see what use they are to you." Pride told him, trying to keep himself from lashing out, as he saw the fear around him, and the pain the boy was gripping, as the Techno tightened his hold on his arm.
"Yes, okay, thin yourselves lucky then. Sorry, make that unlucky, slavery isn't exactly a number one job." The Techno grinned, and winked at Tai-San, whose eyes widened in disgust as she rolled her eyes.
"Did you see that boy." Rikki shook her head.
"Thank god he believed our age, or that boy wouldn't be going alone just now." Patsy sighed.
"Look, things are getting way too dangerous here, I'm gonna go see Zac, get him to give the Mall Rats a message. Stay here, get some rest, I won't be long." Pride told them, and smiled, then made his way through the bustling crowds.

"So, what are the plans for today?" Lex sighed, as he slowly walked into the Caf, as he had been up all night, only getting two hours sleep, baby Lex wouldn't go to sleep for longer than an hour at a time!
"Dunno." Danni shook her head. "Back on the streets, see what the news is I guess." She sighed.
"Yeah, we really need to arrange a meeting with the leaders." Amber told them, looking around at her tribe.
"So, who goes where, and what do we ask?" Lex enquired.
"We'll have some breakfast, get out straight away. Danni, you arrange a meeting with the leaders. Lex, Ryan, Jack, get information about what's going on in the Stadium." Amber told them.
"Um, I can't go out, I'm working on a new security system for the Mall. I really have to stay here." Jack twitched.
Amber sighed. "Okay, Rider, you go with them." She said, looking at Rider, who nodded.
"Ebony, I think you should go ahead as City Leader, try and win the crowds over, make sure they realize we're the good guys here, not the Techno's." Amber told Ebony, who nodded.
"Take Luke and sorry, what's your name?" Amber puzzled, looking at the newest tribe members.
"Um, Amy." Amy coughed.
"Okay, Amy, Luke, the two of you are going to the Hotel with Ebony, win the city people back." She continued.
"No, she can't go, we've only just got here." Della protested.
"Look, I'm sorry, but if you're gonna be part of this tribe, you're gonna have to pull your weight." Amber told her.
"Wait a minute, who said anything about them joining us?" Ryan stuttered.
"Okay, well, we'll have a vote, can the three people, Amy, Della and Paul, who brought Zandra back to us, stay in the Mall, or are they to leave. All those in favour of them staying?" Amber told them, taking a vote, as hands went shooting up all over the place, and it looked like Della and her family were here to stay.
"Okay. Food, I need someone to go to the markets." Amber bit her bottom lip, looking around at who could do the job.
"I'll do it." Danni offered. "Once I've got the meeting in order, I can go to the markets on the way back." She told them.
"Okay, so it's agreed, get breakfast, then off to work. "I'll stay here, look after the Mall. Ellie, you help Jack with his security system. Latisha and Della, look after Paul and Aaliyah. I'll keep and eye on Zandra and baby Lex, along with two little critters." Amber smiled, and tickled Ella's stomach who was lying on the crib in front of her, Will at the opposite end.

"No!" Billy Boy shouted, bringing the rowing leaders to a halt. "This chaos in the Stadium could destroy our people, and I don't just mean the ones imprisoned in there, I mean all of us." He told them.
"Yeah, we're gonna have to move this attack forward, tell the Mall Rats our plans, and we attack tomorrow." Dee agreed.
"Are you nuts?!" Moz blurted, standing between the two. "You know what will happen if we tell the Mall Rats." She laughed, shaking her head. "They'll do what they do all the time. We win this battle, they take all the credit, and use it as another way of getting power over the city." She told them. They all burst into arguments, mostly agreeing with what Moz said.
"Quiet!" Robyn yelled, attracting everyone's attention. "Moz has a point. But if we don't tell the Mall Rats, we about twenty men down." She told them.
"Nonsense, half of the Mall Rats were taken prisoner by the Techno's, there's only like five of them left!" Fisheye argued.
"Okay, okay, say half of them were taken prisoner, five of them left. But don't you think that those five people could make every difference." Becca told them, making Moz extremely angry.
"Just exactly whose side are you on sugar!" She snapped, and Becca jumped in fright.
"Look Moz, you may hold a grudge against those Mall Rat dudes, but this war with the Techno's is nor the time or the place to be exploiting it!" Becca argued, and Moz looked shocked, none of her people ever argued back at her.
"Yo Moz, your little tribe friend has a point, you sure this isn't just to get one up on the Mall Rats?" Drazic frowned, and Moz began to sweat, taking deep breaths.
"Okay, okay. I admit, I think if we leave the Mall Rats, I'd feel better, a hell of a lot better, but like you guys were saying earlier, they'd just use it to get more power." Moz told them.
"It was you who said that too Moz!" Robyn told her, in a pitiful tone of voice.
"I don't like the way you said that." Moz told her, and paced slightly closer, ready to smack her one.
"Look, girls, there'll be plenty of time for grandma's tea parties after the war." Billy Boy told them, walking in front of Robyn. "We'll take a vote, all those who agree we do tell the Mall Rats, raise your hands. The leaders looked at one an other, to see who would be the ones to raise their hands, Dee was first, followed by Drazic, then Becca, then Fisheye, then Billy Boy and Robyn, eventually until all of the leaders, except Moz, had their hands risen in favour of letting the Mall Rats help.
"So it's agreed, we tell the Mall of the Invasion tomorrow. Fisheye, you wanna tell them?" Drazic said. Fisheye nodded, he wasn't really bothered, he'd known the Mall Rats a long time, and they got along pretty good., so it was fine with him.
"Okay, back here tomorrow, bring your whole tribes, pick up anyone you see in the streets, spread the word, the revolt happens tomorrow!" Billy Boy told them, they all cheered, then headed back to their homes.

Zoot and Bray woke late that day, they had been sleeping rough all night, and weren't exactly willing to go to sleep, in case they were caught.
"No Zoot." Bray told his brother, who was heading to the exit to the city.
"What?!" Zoot whispered, irritated.
"We can't do this. We have to stay here." Bray told him, and Zoot was looking puzzled. "My tribe is in there, we can't leave now, and never get back in. What if the city people don't wanna fight?" Bray told him. "Then that's all our chance blown. If they're gonna attack, it'll be soon, anytime soon." Bray told him, and Zoot nodded slightly.
"Yeah, so..." Zoot frowned.
"So, we come out of hiding when the tribes attack, help then. Think about it, there's more chance of defeating these guys that way isn't there?" He explained. "We wait here, when the attack happens, we come out of hiding, and join in, help free the prisoners and get rid of these creeps." Bray smiled and Zoot nodded, a little unsure, but going along with it anyway. But little did they know, the attack was happening first thing tomorrow, so they've got lots of preparing to do, if they're gonna get their city back, and destroy the Techno's once and for all, they have to be ready.

"Lex told me you died there too." Zandra smiled, as Amber handed her a mug of coffee which she sipped lying up in her bed.
Amber sighed and rolled her eyes. "Lex tell you the whole story?" Amber asked.
"Everything since Eagle Mountain, the whole thing with Ebony." Zandra rolled her eyes. "But he won't tell one thing." Zandra frowned. "Who did he marry after me?" Zandra enquired, and Amber dropped her glass.
"Um, I'll have to clean this up, you just stay in bed, I'll be right back." Amber smiled, and ran to the Café to get a cloth. She couldn't tell Zandra about Tai-San, it would infuriate her, besides, it wasn't up to her, it was Lex's decision, and he'd tell her when the time was right, wouldn't he?
"Hey, just came to see how you were." Della smiled as she entered the room.
"I'm okay, thanks. So, you're gonna be staying in the tribe now, one of us?" Zandra smiled.
"Looks like it." Della smiled happily.
"Once Lex Junior here has grown out of nappies, it'll be just like the old days, I'll be running round, annoying everyone with my nail-varnish. I am so fashion conscious. Used to have my own wardrobe in here. I wonder if it's still there." Zandra sighed. "Where's you brother and sister?" Zandra asked.
"Amy went with that Ebony girl, and Paul's playing with Aaliyah. Snakes and Ladders." Della laughed.
"Oh, I loved that game! I never won it though, always ended up going down the snakes. Then it got to a point I was fed up with board games, I thought, let's have a makeover." Zandra smiled, thinking back to her childhood. "I would sneak into my older sisters room, steal one of her lipsticks, and never give them back! Then every morning, I'd get her to do my face, after I'd shower myself, making sure my hair was absolutely perfect. Then I'd brush it, at least one hundred times, make sure it was completely smooth and shiny. I remember one day, I was starting a new school, we had moved from the country, into the city, and I walked into registration, I must have been about fourteen, not that long ago. I had these huge high heels on, that made this really annoying clicking sound every time your feet hit the floor. A tiny skirt, denim I think, which was more like a belt! My hair all clenched together in a bun, all these bits sticking out, and this really low cut top, with a denim jacket on top. The guys stood there, mouth's dropped open, but I never made any friends, the girls hated me, too much competition for them, they just thought I was cheap trailer trash." Zandra sighed. "But I'll never forget the day I walked into that classroom like that. They all sat there in school uniform, hair in a bobble, silent as the night sky." Zandra smiled, then took a long breath. "Anyway, enough about me. What about you, what's the most memorable day of your life?" Zandra smiled, and Della turned away, looked as if she were about to choke.
"I better go check on the kids, Latisha's on her own, and Paul can be quite a handful." Della coughed, and stood from the chair, leaving the room. Did she have something to hide that was so terribly she couldn't even tell Zandra.
The day lasted forever, the Mall Rats had been very busy, and Danni had given them news of the revolt tomorrow. Everyone in the city was busy, preparing for the attack on the Techno's. Zac had met the Mall Rats, and got the message of the revolt back to Pride and the other prisoners, who were preparing for their friends to rescue them. But the Techno's, under new leadership, had already got rid of a lot of prisoners, including KC, Zeke and Jet. Zoot and Bray were preparing themselves for the revolt, although they were unaware it was going to be sooner than they expected. Lex and Fisheye have made plans to plant the bomb inside the stadium, once the fighting is over, they will detonate it, and kill the Techno's. Trudy has been separated from Brady, and locked away, no food or water. Lacey and Piper have been forced to try on dresses for their wedding, and make preparations. Pride and May seem to be growing close again, but is it really love this time? Amber is worried about the future for her babies, what if the Techno's win this battle, and full control of the city? The night was long and restless for everyone, but by the time morning came, everyone was very much awake, and ready to go, but nerves were starting to kick in.
"Lex, be careful." Zandra smiled, and Lex kissed her, for the first time since Eagle Mountain, but Zandra pulled back, she knew Lex had married again, and what if his wife was still alive, she didn't know who it was, but she couldn't kiss him, not like that, not so soon.
"I will, it's okay." He smiled. "We'll win this city back, then we can all make a fresh start, you, me and the baby, the whole tribe." Lex told her, then left the room, a tear trickled down Zandra's cheek, she may not be in love with Lex, at the moment anyway, but she still cared greatly for him, and a part of her felt she had to worry, be there for him. But she knew she couldn't stand around all day crying, she had to stay strong for her baby, it was his future they were fighting for, their freedom.
"You sure you'll be okay here?" Amber asked Amy, who was staying behind, along with Zandra, Paul and Aaliyah to loom after the babies.
"Look, you go ahead, kick those guys butts." Amy smiled. "The kids will be fine, we'll be waiting for you." She told Amber, who smiled, and kissed her children one the cheek, then left to get the others.
"Okay, this battle may be our one and only chance of saving our friends, and making a fresh start as a tribe, and a city. If we fail in this battle, which I am sure we won't, we may never have another chance, but we're a strong tribe, and there's a whole city out there ready to fight today. We just have to go in there, and be strong, and we'll have our friends back, the Techno's will be no more!" Danni told them, and they all cheered, clapping their hands.
"Goodbye!" Amy waved, and Zandra walked through.
"Good luck!" Zandra cried, and Lex turned back, Zandra blew him a kiss, he smiled, and turned back, to walk with the others.
"Everyone awake!" Pride whispered.
"Everyone's awake." May told him, smiling, the look of hope in her face.
"Okay, the city tribes should be here any second, just act as normal, don't make the Techno's suspicious, and as soon as the city kids are in, we join in, but not until they are here, okay." Pride nodded, and the other prisoners agreed, then doddled back to their work, as Techno guards approached.
"I am here to announce, the Sunday of the forthcoming weekend, will be a huge celebration for the Techno's, and my good leaders, Jason, and Jay, would be happy for you to attend. The celebration will be an exchange of rings and vows between Jay, and Lacey, and also Jason, and Piper." Jaffa smiled, and the Mall Rats looked at each other shocked.
"Piper and Lacey would never allow this!" Tai-San spat.
"No, it's like Lacey said last time, they're forcing them." Patsy replied.
"It doesn't matter much anyway." May told them, and they all frowned. "Well, the revolt is today, we'll be free by tonight, Piper and Lacey will be back at the Mall with us." May explained, and they all took a sigh of relief, that was right, there wouldn't be a wedding, cause by the end of the day, they would be free.
"Pride, they're coming!" Zac ran and warned him, the prisoners cheered quietly in excitement, Jaffa looked at the suspiciously.
"Okay everyone, get ready!" Pride told them.
"What is going on over here?!" Jaffa demanded.
"N Nothing. We're just excited." Rikki blurted.
"About what exactly?" Jaffa asked, his voice sounded shrill now.
"The um, weddings, isn't that right guys." Rikki smiled.
"I don't believe you!" Jaffa yelled, and grabbed Patsy by the scruff of the neck.
"Let her go!" Pride demanded. Jaffa just smiled, and Patsy felt she was joking by his tight grip. "Let her go now! We're telling the truth!" Pride told him.
"Why should you be excited, a Techno wedding, you aren't exactly their best friend, are you." Jaffa taunted.
"Weddings excite us. Celebrations bring good luck." Tai-San told him, not able to think of something to say, then the guards at the main entrance cried out in shock.
"Attack! We're under attack!" One of them cried, and Zac slid the doors wide open, no one seeing him.
"Get the prisoners out of here, inform Jason and Jay!" Jaffa ordered, and threw Patsy to the ground; May hugged her, then the pair stood up.
"Take the prisoners away!" Jaffa ordered, running to defend the entrance, then the prisoners unexpectedly fought back, shocking the Techno's.
"You!" Jaffa shouted furiously, pointing at Zac, whose heart felt it had skipped a beat, and he ran to hide.
"Get the prisoners out of here!" Danni told them, and the city people stormed the Stadium.
"Fisheye!" Lex cried, and Fisheye came to him, and they crept through the chambers, planting the bomb in Jason's room.
"I'll detonate it when everyone's out." Fisheye told him, Lex nodded, and ran back to the fight, as Fisheye snooped around.
"You hear that?!" Bray jumped. "Sounds like an attack!" He told his brother.
"Come on then!" Zoot smiled, and the two ran out, being careful not to be seen however.
"Pride!" May screamed, as a Techno attacked her, Pride jumped on him, and May escaped, the two fought, then Pride ran to hug May close.
"What is this?!" Lacey said in shock.
"The Mall Rats. Ebony!" Piper cried, as she spotted her sister near by.
"Piper, you okay?" She asked, and the pair hugged.
"Look out!" Dee warned, as a Techno lunged for Amber, who narrowly escaped.
"Thanks!" Amber said, and ran to help the others.
"Where's the others?" Ryan asked, as he saw patsy and Rikki.
"I dunno, they disappeared, we all got separated.
"I want you two to run back to the Mall, don't stop, keep running, there'll be a girl there, called Amy, it's okay she's a friend. Just run, and don't look back okay." He told them, they nodded, and fled the Stadium.
"Jaffa!" Luke cried, as he saw his old friend.
"Well, well." Jaffa smirked. "I should have done this long ago!" He spat, and punched Luke in the stomach. Then began kicking him violently.
"Luke!" Ellie cried, as he saw her friend lying helplessly. She ran, and pushed Jaffa back, who fell into Rider, who punched him, knocking him out for a second.
"Luke, please, please be okay." Ellie begged, starting to cry.
Luke lay there, eyes closed, and Ellie checked for a pulse, then noticed a puddle of blood underneath his head.
"No!" She screamed, and fell onto his chest, and lay there for the rest of the battle.
"Interfering little Rats!" Jay spat, and lunged a punch at Jack.
"Us, Rats?!" Latisha laughed, and kicked Jay right in between the legs. "We'll win this battle, just you wait!" She screamed, and wrapped her arm round a sore Jack, and helped him into e seat.
"Robyn, Becca!" Moz cried, as she was cornered by three Techno's, one of them Jason.
Robyn took a sharp arrow, and plunged it into Jason's back, he staggered away in agony, seeking shelter, the pain killing him.
"Thanks!" Moz sighed, then joined the fighting.
"Where's Tai-San?!" Lex cried.
"I dunno, she went into the building, she's looking for Jason." Pride told him, and Lex felt his heart stop, as he realized that was where the bomb was, he had to find her.
"Help me, please, someone help me!" Trudy cried, thumping on the doors of the room she was trapped inside. Zac came bursting in, his spiky black hair shit straight up in fear, and he locked the door behind him. Trudy ran, to try and open the door.
"We can't go that way!" Zac told her. "There are guards everywhere, we'll have to go out the window." He told her.
"I can't, my baby, she's still in there somewhere!" Trudy cried, and tried to open the door. "Open this door!" She ordered.
"I'm sorry, we have to get out of here!" Zac told her, and pushed her from the window, forcing her to climb out.
"Move!" Fisheye demanded, as the remote for the bomb went flying from his hands. "Move!" He screamed, then he saw a herd of Techno's running towards it.
"Bray!" Amber cried in joy, as she ran towards Bray, arms open wide, as she had thought he was dead, but he was very much alive.
Then there was a dead silent, and a thunderous sound, it was the bomb it had gone off, and the Stadium suddenly exploded, the atmosphere filled in gas and smoke, nothing could be seen. The city people stood in silence, as screams were heard from the Stadium, no one knew who was dead or alive, all there was left, was fire and rubble, smoke clouds filling the air. The battle was over, but was there anyone left?
